  9. This sword is unobtainable now and has been for 3 years. Only Veteren players have it. Recently this weapon became a very good option for a newer character (Furina). Newer players are crying 😭😭

  10. Albedo and Durin are related through Albedos master Rhindottier (Gold). This relationship is explored in Albedos story quest. This series is going to be a very lengthy one! I wouldn’t blame you both if you find yourself losing track or being disappointed often. Especially in the early game quests. Keep it up guys. ❤

  13. you can find durin's gigantic skeleton in that map and he's huuuge. like 10x bigger than dvalin lol. makes you wonder how powerful was peak venti and dvalin to beat such a humongous thing

    She a self-contracted assassin who works entirely in the night, believing it to be more suited to her work and fate. She doesn't consider herself to be the same as the rest of the sisters. She kills alone, in the darkness.

  20. rosaria had probably one of the most messed up childhood in the game.

    The game doesn't talk about it but it's in her lore page.

    something about bandit robbing and murdering her village, and lost her parents in the process.

    they decided to take her with them, then later the bandit leader decided to adopt her,

    she ended growing up and learning from them (doing evil deeds for them),

    and she later kills the bandit leader during a fight between the knight of favonius and the bandit group.

    Then grand master Varka, the big boss of monstadt who's currently away in the story in another nation (Natlan), took her into the knight of favonius for a chance of redemption where she works as a nun, but I'm not sure why that occupation specifically.

    This is why she feels nothing for the gods since to survive, she always needs to rely on herself.

  21. Rosaria's backstory tells you all you need to know about why she acts like that.

    Born in a remote mountain village, she was taken from her home shortly after birth by the very same bandits who drenched it in blood. Raised by them, she learned how to fight, sometimes thieving, other times doing odd jobs for the crew. She was their servant a slave, but also their tool, a bandit yet still a child. One day the bandit crew was wiped out by the Knights of Favonius. As their youngest member, Rosaria was judged to have a chance of rehabilitation. Grand Master Varka of The Knights of Favonius said to her "Go to the Cathedral and be cleansed by the light of our archon. You still have the chance to turn your fate around and live a normal life." Tho it was soon clear she would rather hunt in the wild than settle into a life of dutiful service as a sister. As far as she was concerned, the golden sunlight was not so much cleansing as blinding. For Rosaria had long since come to understand that she was a child of the moonlight.

  22. That adventurer Sucrose saved is always getting attacked by Hilitruls in the open world and you have the option to save him as part of a mini quest, however the moment he pushed Sucrose the the ground, I just ignore his please for help

  25. If i remember it right, more about the dragon will be mentioned in another event with Albedo, Shadow Amidst the Snowstorm. Another lore heavy, yet limited event that new players missed.🥲

  28. Actually Genshin is pretty dark in terms of lore. They just don't show it on the surface. Sucrose has a restrained living Hillichurl in her lab that she does painful experiments on like an actual mad scientist. You'll only find stuff like this in in-game books or character back stories and other stuff outside of character dialogues.

  30. To be fair, Albedo's doubts about Paimon are really valid because as far as we know, there aren't any pixies like Paimon in Teyvat. So Albedo is one of the first characters in the game to actually question what Paimon is, and her identity bothers lore theorists even up to this day. She could very well be just a cute companion and mascot for the game but, in hoyoverse's games, almost everything has a deeper purpose.
    Oh, and fun fact about Sucrose: she has a… rather interesting hobby of gathering different bones… She even has a whole Hilichurl skeleton in her room 💀

  39. Rosaria is definitely approachable as a thorny rose (pretty much her symbol), but she does speak from a place of vigilance and skepticism. She didn’t exactly have a the best of childhoods since having her loved ones village razed by bandits, and then being raised by other bandits, definitely gave her a jaded view of the world. Even when she got to the good side, she felt she doesn’t belong in the light and should stay in the shadows for the sake of those that do live in the light. Sad, but it’s the life she chose.
    Unfortunately, this info is pretty much only available if you got her in the game.

    Albedo is a pretty big mystery mostly due to his connections with other important characters. He himself, is pretty interesting, but he never stuck in my mind since scholarly characters rarely ever stick to me. That being said, apparently this quest is one of the most well received ones by a lot of old fans. I dropped the game during the middle of this (due to being in another country at the time), so I never got to see the end in the game. And I didn’t miss much, but that last line definitely perplexed me, and wouldn’t be answered until MUCH later in another event.

    Sucrose is sweet, but severe lack of self-confidence tends to put her in a sorry state. You will see her grow, but that’ll be a big while.

    And Ken, I understand your disappointment of not seeing a dragon when it’s been mentioned so many times, but Durin has only exclusively been used for backstory stuff. I don’t know if he appeared in the Manhua (Chinese comic) but know this, Dvalin will not be the only dragon you see in this game.

  41. As an artist, i will now procede to take GREAT offense (/j) to neither of you understanding how INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT a sketchbook is for it's owner. Contrary to what you guys think, Albedo is actually a legit artist in canon, like getting payed to illustrate books half way to the other side of the continent bcs of his great fame as an artist legit (yes the hilichurl painting is kinda goofy, but also nowhere near comparable to his other artwork in game). So that's why Paimon and the traveler where so surpized that he didnt seem to mind as much as one would expect abt the idea of his sketchbook being destroyed. Art takes effort, you cant just "draw everything again", that line from Albedo is suposed to be a WILD remark. Anyone who's ever met an artist will tell you that most are INCREDIBLY protective of it, to the point they wont even let you look trought it lol

  42. Rhinedottir aka Gold (a Witch) used the Art of Khemia (Alchemy) to create her children Durin (a Shadow Dragon) & Albedo (a Homunculus). There are 4 Stages in Alchemy (Magnum Opus) which are….

    1.) Nigredo – Blackness (Souls & Lifeless Entities from the Abyss like Durin)

    2.) Albedo – Whiteness (Purifying of the Soul by giving the Soul a living body which equates to Life like Albedo)

    3.) Citrinitas – Yellowness (The Perfect State of Being that Radiates Light or Solar Power that can break Curses & transcends Fate, like the Traveler, Rhinedottir, & other Celestial Beings)

    4.) Rubedo – Redness (The Final Stage where the Soul & Body of a being can transcend to different worlds & can control fate itself like a God. The state that even Irminsul, Celestia, & Teyvat can't comprehend so they called it being Cursed or having Forbidden Knowledge….maybe the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles who captured the Traveler Twins at the beginning of the story have this, or probably Father Arlecchino who can defy fate itself according to Pierro (The Joker).
