The way childe and scara talk about her you'd think shes absolutely awful with no redemption, but from what it seems shes just ruthless willing to kill anyone, but still has some sort of moral standard and seems to care about the kids like in the fatui teaser "we dont want to make the children cry" and like they talk about she wants to save fontaine, so shes not an absolue horrible person

So even though she's putting them through hardship, with missions, she still cares
