Genshin Impact Recipe #43 / Tricolor Dango

A soft, glutinous snack. Glutinous rice has been grown into powder and rolled into a ball before being steamed. The Sakura Bloom and Snapdragon colors lend an extra liveliness to these dango.

  1. Tried the recipe, everything looked like yours but they never rose to the surface in boiling water (I cooked them for aprox. 40 minutes) and they weren't chewy at all, it was more like raw core, super solid. Should i change the glutinous flour ratio? I used sun-flower brand non glutinous/glutinous rice powder

  2. DAMMIT man i wanna make this so bad but the flours arent in my country. Have to spend like $100 for each flower and $45 for powders if its online and judging by comments ive seen that regular flour doesnt work 🙁

  3. Thank you for the recipe! I am going to attempt it tomorrow. 1 question though: better use ice water or just room temp water? And do the balls need to be bathed in water or can i just leave it out in the room?

  4. Fun fact!:

The reason behind the colour order of tri colour dango is..
    Green leaf 🍃
    White bud 🤍
    Pink blossom 🌸
They are the colours of the stages of the sakura flower!
