    Raiden Mei well you'll see later in the story why Ei is just her "shadow" (Ei= 影 means shadow) 😀
    As you enjoy this and Genshin, I can't wait you finish the "tutorial".. I mean reach the end of chapter 9. xD

  4. Ooow, first chapters feels so melancholic… The happy old times. Four years had passed but they still looks good.
    As a veteran captain I can say that Honkai is a ride of emotions, I hope you keep playing the main story and see it for yourself.
    Chapter after chapter its getting better and better. Totally worthy.

    Though the story early on is kinda boring Chapter 2 to 6. The story picks up at the end of chapter 6. Hopefully the early story doesn't leave you a bad impression of the game.

  24. MORE HONKAI PLEASE BRAN~~~~ there’s chapter 28 update now, tons of content! Also, Honkai is depression, definitely not happy like u think. U just haven’t got there, but… enjoy the happy times while it lasts!

It is originally a mobile game since 2016 and ported on PC which explains why the the UI is very mobile-like with big buttons everywhere and the story telling and character interactions are Visual Novel style which is why animated cinematics is well suited for Honkai.. Thanks for playing this cuz I'm playing this since it first released but it is not that popular unlike today although it is still less viewed on Twitch maybe because of the mobile attribute of the game which is Twitch kinda allergic to it. But still it is a good game if you enjoy hack n slash, dungeon crawling, and fast phase gameplay with good storyline it is worth the time… There is a lot of farming aspect of the game including a variety of ingame currency which is not a cup of tea to some people, the gacha system well it is still a gacha but I guess a little better than FGO but you didn't really need it to progress the main story cuz I already tried it on my second account purely f2p and it is fine too although slower than my main account.
    I played Genshin because of Honkai and both games had their own flavor and genres are so different so I can't find myself comparing one from another… Genshin is more chill gameplay though and I play Honkai to smash buttons. But playing both games helps me a lot to escape my stressful office workloads. Sometimes I play other games with my friends and office workers like ProjectZomboid and the new Elden Ring which is also fun. Games are made to enjoy so I'm keeping away from the community and friends is my best company. 😋

  31. Whilst the graphics may seem less in quality due to being an older game, Honkai's lore is superior to Genshin at least at the moment.

    THIS, Bran, is a masterpiece of a story. Buckle your seatbelts, grab the tissues and sit in your best gaming chair cause you're about to see the game that set our expectations for Genshin through the roof.

  36. A wise decision to play the game, for there is so much more all the other channels miss by doing only reactions to the animations or pv´s. All the chronicles all the story cg´s. So much stuff they´ll never see. Sadly the storys to all the events is only aviable during the events so in this case it is either waiting or watching on youtube. ^^
    Ah, maybe you would find the video from Houkai Gakuen 2 we´ll see us in the next world to be interesting. The End of the game before Honkai Impact. ^^ Oh and all the mangas to Honkai Impact, they would help you to get an better understanding I´d say. if you´re into reading mangas that is.. ^^
