I'd rather want QoL updates like,
1. make elemental goblets easy to farm, dendro is coming up and the percentage drops of element goblets will be lowered even more.
2. Have a some sort of option where you can farm on a specific set. Ie if you want 5* VV, there's a button of choosing 5* VV, 5* Maidens, or both to farm.
3) Either raise the resin count from 160 to 200/250 or make fragile resins more obtainable WITHOUT SPENDING PRIMOGEMS.
Just give old character, Most whale already spent tons of money for them to C6, and whale don't even bother with event I guess lol, Keep the f2p guys like us quite happy with a new character to play with, it's only a win for Hoyo
they should give us like 90 fates for the bare minimum cus we are at least guranteed a 5*
i know they are not gonna do that cus they are stingy af
"losing money" dude they literally let you farm characters in honkai and even gave away THE event banner character FOR FREE on the anniversary
Genshin's dev team is honestly so out of touch
honkai has alot of characters and variation. If they make a selector in genshin, everyone will surely go for raiden. When everyone has raiden, then banners will become useless because everyone has the character they wanted.
being able to pick diluc as a proper dps 5 star is probably losing too much money for them, its probably fine in their other game if theres just less people playing it though
S ranks in honkai and 5 stars in genshin are NOT the same thing AT ALL.
Honkai system is different tho they give away valkyries because it really doesnt matter if you get them (unless if it is just for collection purposes) you need their weapon/gacha stigmatas and most likely copies to rank them S. Thats why genshin is treated differently. Not to mention that they give away really old S valkyries that are obsolete in the meta like HoV
Nah why are yall getting ur hopes up did yall forget last anniversary? They just gave us 10 wishes smh. If the rewards are as bad as last anniversary if not worse dont be disappointed yall never learn from this company

Free ★5 standard banner chara/weapon was my expectation for the 1st anniversary. I don't have a high expectation on the 2nd. Just give daily login for free fates I'm good 😅
Hoyoverse: here's a 4* selector with a free 4* weapon that most wouldn't probably use, 10 acquaint fate, a 1600 primos + a possibility of a free glider and some free stuff on your teapot yeah! we generous right? Rigth..? 😂
I havent played genshin in 3 days and I already feel so much happier, genshin brings more misery than it does happiness, its like a drug tbh.
Bruh even if they added trade one standart 5 star to another I'd hyped. I think everyone would be happy to trade their constellation on qiqi for something else
'they do it in honkai all the time" in honkai, one pull costs 280 crystals and guaranteed s rank is 100 pity. Thats 28k crystals but in genshin theres just 14k most for guaranteed 5 star and 50% chance to go more. You also need to WISH for gear. Weapon and 3 stigma's… the stigma is only guaranteed after 60 pulls and its not even guaranteed that you'll get a new stigma. Honkai guaranteed new s rank is 3 s ranks on dorm supply/standard banner. you also need to pull for elfs and need insane resources for every character. Honkai only does this because they're so unfair so they decide to be fair for anniversary, 1500 days to get 5 pulls.
in honkai they gave out a brand new S-rank character that has a place in the meta and made her gear have a 50% discount and then there is genshin "best i can do is a 10 pull" and that's after the community outraged and started review bombing the game, sometimes i honestly forget those 2 games are made by the same company
If it's a 5 star weapon then I'm all for it. I'm tired of not having a bow or catalyst. If it's a character ill pick Shenhe or Ayato (Depending on the choice) Since i got shafted as usual. Whales got it easy. 😅
True. Even if they add a standard 5* selector (both 1 weapon and 1 character) I'd get Mona and play even more, because after over a year, one of my favourite characters, would finally came home.
Or at least a 5 star standard weapon box
Honkai lets you reroll sub stats too…. There is a LOT this game could be but isn't cause its not part of the Hersch universe

So I’ll probably just go for C1 Kazuha OR Jean idk maybe someone else like Ayaka

Mihoyo whiteknights won't let the game improve.
Nice idea but honestly you’re outright wrong. Firstly, Genshin makes so much more money than Honkai does like hundreds of millions more. Secondly, Mihoyo is a multi billion dollar company. They do not care about player retention, they don’t care if you quit playing Genshin. If they give out a free 5*, they lose all of the potential money that people WOULD have spent in the first place in order to get the 5* anyway.
At some point you just have to stop asking like when I was younger I’d beg my mom to get me a game system and she would ignore me or flat out say no and eventually I just had to accept that wasn’t happening

Meanwhile PGR's 2.5 anniversary gave the players a free S rank construct and weapon selector, black cards that costs like 40+ pulls, 100% rate up on all S ranks and A ranks, Discount on rainbow cards and skins, A free skin for no. 21, and more.
As long as new character banners still can beat reacords set previously, they will be doing all the same shit over and over. "Why fix if not broken"
So all you can do is just leave all that copium for other games where devs can be generous.
For the second anniversary my expectations are fucking bottom of the barrel. But if a five star character was to happen, the only way I could see it happening is like others have said it is specifically any five star from the standard banner. Since those aren’t the ones most people are going for. They’re going for new characters and the new weapons. Not the ones that have been in the game since launch. So financially it wouldn’t hurt them at all. Even if it did it would be absolute bare minimum. Like I’ve had my eye on Mona since launch and I still don’t have her. So it would have been nice to get her but, frankly I’ve given up hoping for Mona from the gatcha system. Like I’ve given up entirely. I’ve accepted the reality that I’m never gonna get Mona. Like once I got Jean after Keqing, my Standard banner has been cursed with back to back jeans (currently C3). 95% the time I win my 50-50‘s on event banners And the 5% where I’ve lost on event banners were either Qiqi, Diluc and C1 and Keqing C1. So based on that there’s no hope of getting Mona and it’s been almost 2 years.
Why not? because they value money more than giving to player's don't you all get it if they do that they can't get money 💰💰 that how greedy they are and I guess the people who manage other game of mihoyo are different from the people who manage genshin Impact they probably do the same if their other games have the same amount of money or near to how much money genshin made the from players
i hope they do even if it is the old 5 stars it is good for new players and old players that dont have dupes in them yet or have them at all yet i was thinking they would have done it for the 1st anni but they did nothing lol
Personally what i think would be cool is not giving out a 5 star, but you could get an epitomized fate for standard banner, where, you are guaranteed to get what you pick as the next 5 star, you wont get the 5 star instantly nor the pulls for it, but you will have it guaranteed, its a win win. MHY still gets money from primos, players still get a select 5 star.
