    Crack Theory: Yunjin is the secret daugther of Zhongli and Ei.

    Reason: 1st evidence that proves this is by the weapon she is holding, yes she is holding polearm just like her daddy zhongli and mommy ei. 2nd, she is also from liyue (which means by yanfie's judgement that zhongli is much more able to take care yunjin than ei). 3rd, she is a geo element and that aligns with her daddy zhongli and her design and coloring align from her mommy ei.

    Conclusion: Zhongli and Ei had a daughter and Zhongli wins the case on who will take the daughter.

    Many people:

    Me: You want me to talk about a woman who's dirt poor? Is she really that interesting? Well, I suppose it might have something to do with the fact that she's some kind of astrologer/astrologist, whichever it is. Says she can't use that profession to make money as it goes against the principles of her craft and muddles process. Might be due to the intent being reduced to the profane or something, iunno. Not that she makes that an issue or anything, she's…not to use the word "infatuated" here, but she is very dedicated to what is essentially her profession and; dare I say; belief. And she's quite proficient as well, even has this air about her which most will always see first before ever noting the toll it takes on her at times. Inasmuch as she doesn't use it for the mundane purpose of self-sustenance, she does so quite well for self-preservation. As a hydro practitioner, she manipulates the particles around her to manifest water, but her application of it one might attribute to that of siren; terrible creature. If she is threatened, she can quite literally shrink into a puddle and swim away from the danger. It's also a neat little trick she could use to spy on others if she ever decided to do reconnaissance work. Can't go up stairs, though. She hasn't actually learned how to overcome that yet. In spite of this, however, she can supplement her evasive maneuvers with some good old fashioned trickery. Molding water in an instant, she can forge a perfect replica of her physique which will drive the attention of all those nearby away from her and to it for a brief period of time, generating sharp pulses every few seconds whilst active. She can fool enemies into believing there's two of them or completely remove herself from the equation in like manner. Honestly, if she manages to refine this; if she hasn't already; she could actually do a little bit of multitasking and just do two jobs at once. She's bright when it comes to astrology, not necessarily applying her skills in other forms, which ought to be easy for someone who's supposed to be top tier, quite frankly. Unless she can't use it for that either. Egh….But the extent of her abilities don't end there. She's able to read an entity's strength and intent at truly remarkable speeds. The Fatui Harbinger Scaramouche, a calculated humanoid, was able to keep a juvial facade around the traveler for much of their interactions. But within seconds of Mona noticing him, she sized him up as a very potent threat IN SPITE of his concealment, and shifted herself and the traveler; with the toddler; in a body of water, far out of reach of him. It's no wonder then that her coup de grace performs as well as it does. The principles of astrology; according to her; also grant her a more telling boon. Given that she is not able to use her premonitions for monetary gain, she has had to learn to use what she has not just sparingly but efficiently. This she translates to her performance in battle, although in a rather odd way. Her power somehow operates like that of a hungry monster, craving any and all it is able to grasp and subsume, consequently resulting in the overall strength behind her strikes becoming stronger the faster she feasts. In another way one can say that it functions like that of a well-kept pistol; so long as the chamber is cleaned of any backlog, the form maintained, generally everything is kept in order, every shot you fire with the pistol will be the optimum available to it. Effectively, the faster she can generate energy, the stronger her hydromancy. When you think about it, she truly is a siren. Drowning her enemies whilst suspending them in the air…No wonder she dresses like that. |:
