Genshin Impact is PUSHING AWAY new players with huge growing problems

I just hope they fix these issues before it’s too late.

  1. It isn't that hard to add a traveler salesman that said they went to everywhere in order to sell unique goods and you can even ask them to always bring 3/5 specific items; it could be something weekly so even the newer players would be able to get the materials. As for the bosses, I believe a hire feature would make sense, I mean, the Adventurers Guild exist for a reason right? Hire a party of 4 to weekly face a certain boss (only world bosses, not story ones). Really is not that hard.

  3. If anything they should add interchangeable items for ascension and talents that will cost more, but will hold you down until you get to inazuma or any other future areas.
ex. Yoimiya needs Naku weeds to ascend. The interchangeable item would be another flower item such as the cecilia, windwheel, etc. but you'll need twice the amount you would normally be giving in naku weeds, and the mora price would also be increased.
While the idea of just making interchangeable items for the characters can work it would always need to be at greater cost so people dont abuse the system to just avoid grinding Inazuma items entirely. So I think along with the greater cost it won't allow your character to go past the ascension cap beyond AR30. Still this seems like it would be difficult to implement easily. Mihoyo kinda backed themselves in a corner with this way of doin things.

  4. Actually quite happy some quests are limited.
Its more of a reward for existing players than new.
Also since they are removed it takes less space.
I am sure at one point they will add them back once they optimise a download option like with the audio.

  5. I feel like the issue isn't really an issue, at least for inazuma characters. The amount of time that your character will be falling behind will realistically only be like three or four days (you can use them for the first 2-3 weeks no problem), and if you're that worried about it you can just do dailies and log off.
We had to do that grind for an awful lot longer to hit the important AR's before they reduced all the story chapter requirements anyways, and that's getting gradually better now.
I think they'll find a good solution before it becomes a serious issue; Mihoyo's doing a good job so far.

  6. I started playing in 2.1 and most frustrating thing is that I already lost like 3 events minimum because I haven't completed the story yet…They are forcing me to push trough the story ASAP and I refuse to do that, that is not how I play games

  7. How about making it so that you can’t add a character to your party until you have officially “met” that character. And the banners presented should be based on the characters that the player has officially “met”.

  8. I started playing the same day that they announced Itto and Gorou not knowing i would need to be farming the latest content in order to upgrade them 😂

Took me more than 2 weeks but I finally completed all the Inazuma storylines while saving my primos (my characters are still super weak tho since I'm still AR 38 or something lol)

  9. Well what if you aren't even planning on playing with your Inazuma characters UNTIL you get to Inazuma when they are actually relevant to the story or you would rather get your hands on all the four stars and not care for the five stars? I would rather focus on getting Diona and Noelle as soon as possible than any of the Inazuma characters.
The problem I'm having that's keeping me from wanting to start Genshin is I don't know if the events they have are an annual thing where they would do it again every year or not because what those events have carry with it a lot of lore in Monstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma not to mention introduction of certain characters that you wouldn't have learned about otherwise. We talking how Fischl's introduction is through a meteor shower event or how a lot of us getting to know characters like Noelle, Chongyun, and Diona are through hangouts that are also not permanent. Let's not forget the event weapons you get from those events like Klee's book or Venti's bow, or even the Festering Desire which is the Traveler's Sword while also giving more story about Albedo, the Dragon Durin and Dragonspine. Besides, what dingus would even play a game like this on a phone?

  11. to be fair, if they spend money even on the monthly primos, it is mostly just to collect waifus, we really don't use much on the new heroes, benette and sucrose are still pretty strong, anything below AR40 is a pretty weak mob that you don't need perfect artifact, what grind me the most are events, majority of events require you to be in inazuma and finish some criteria quest, they should bring back or make new events that are located in mondstadh or in liyue, the only reason we still have an event like the lunar event because it coincides with real events like Lunar festival. As much as I like to be able to buy the event items since I miss most of them, I would have preferred to get them in actual events rather than buying them.
