Reacting to Teyvat Chapter Interlude Teaser: A Winter Night's Lazzo | Genshin Impact Reaction

No one knows how long it has been since all the Fatui Harbingers last gathered.
On this winter night, people donning masks who had just been singing and squabbling, fell silent in mournful meditation.
Only then did the hall join the winter sky in infinite silence.

Meanwhile, in distant Sumeru, Collei who has not had dreams for a long time, saw strange visions during her midday napโ€ฆ

  1. I remember when this teaser first came out everyone went crazy about it i think they released it so that nothing would be leaked about it bc there were a lot of leaks at that time it come from nowhere to us mihoyo beat the leakers๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

How is she in a coffin??? There was nothing left of her so they could put her in a coffin not even ashes remained๐Ÿ˜…

  2. Yeah, this teaser is so hype, i remember it was such a big drop from hoyo.
    Also the list of Harbingers
0)Director – Pierro, "the jester" ( first person we see in the trailer, guy with chess. If you look closely you can see he has the same eyes as Dainsleif)
    1) As far as we know Il Capitano, "the captain" is the first(guy with long black hair and a mask, you cant see his face. Everyone says he is super strong. Also possible that the description of Bloodstained Knight artifact set is about him)
    2) Il Dottore, "the doctor"( guy with a test tube. If you are reading genshin manga you should know him)
    3) Colombina, "Damselette"( a girl who sings laying on coffin. Childe says you need to be careful around her, because she is number 3 but he has no idea why, so she must be hiding something)
    4) Arlecchino, "the knave" ( her eyes have crosses. In Inazuma there is actually a hidden quest about Arlecchino, i recommend doing it. You need to defeat 3 fatui located on a ledge east of the Araumi(Narukami island) southern waypoint, interact with the Tattered Notes in the nearby tent, then draw a fortune slip by interacting with the Fortune Slip Box in Grand Narukami Shrine and talk to Gendou Ringo and select the option: (Hand over the fortune slip) in the middle of a hazy night. Then you need to use slip box for 5 real days and do some tasks. And the you will unlock the quest "Shuumatsuban Operations")
    5) Pulcinella, "The Rooster" ( guy with big nose. He takes care of Childe's family when Childe is not in Snezhnaya and you can think he is just being kind, but he may have some bad intentions instead, also he is a mayor of Snezhnaya)
    6) Scaramouche
    7) Sandrone, "Marionette" ( girl with a robot, Childe says she is crazy)
    8) Signora ๐Ÿ’€
9)Pantalone, "Regrator" ( evil Baizhu, he is the owner of Northland Bank in Liyue which has branches all over the world, they are sometimes used by Fatui as their base of operations)
    10)?
    11) Childe. I recommend doing his story quest

  3. It's sad but if u wanna know more about Signora and her backstory and why she is the way she is u need to read "Crimson Witch of Flames" artifact description. It's very fascinating actually because it's related to the Khaenri'ah's destruction.

  4. Do the 2 archon quest in the chasm first before you go to Sumeru for smooth continuation also i think 1 of the 2 archon quest there is needed to unlock Sumeru quest so yeah.

Seeing you hate childe on this me thinking you need to do childe story quest especially before you go to Fontaine because it became awkward on their conversion when you didnt know their full context of interactions and conversation.. i didnt want spoil you to what is but trust me its became awkward without the context of childe story quest.

  5. Hello! Happy new year! It's finally time to reach to this teaser! Time went by really fast

    The meeting is the harbingers!

Haha, out of all of them on the screen, Childe is the only one I'd actually trust lol, not fully, but he's ones of the most redeemable ones, if not the only one

    Isn't it cool!

The archon quest for Sumeru is still locked behind a Dainsleif interlude chapter

You need to unlock the chasm because we go to Sumeru through there

You don't need to anymore but since you said you were going to take a break to explore and level up you should definitely do the Chasm archon quest so you get a little more insight to the place. It will be worth it I assure you!๐Ÿ˜…

There's also the character story quests for the archons you could probably do as well

Sumeru really picks the pace when it comes to lore so you need to have quite a lot of insight to better understand it

In conclusion, you don't need to rush to Sumeru, there's still a lot to discover in the previous three nations๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

  6. Your reaction during Childe appearance ๐Ÿ˜‚.
I personnally really like Childe, I don't forget what happen in Liyue but I have a thing for grey characters or where you don't know where they really fit in. I feel like I wouldn't have love him as much if I didn't read his Characters story which is one of my favorite I will be honest (You can find it in Youtube I believe it's with his profile + Voiceline) after that done his storyquest which is still one of the storyquest I enjoyed the most. I feel like because I did read his Character Story on his profile, I could understand and even appreciate even more his storyquest so if you do his storyquest, why not read his character story before maybe? Also olders players actually met Childe in Inazuma in a event, it's a shame these events are gone and we can't play it anymore because in my opinion it's help with the experience and see the differents relationship growing, since I'm a newer player too, I had to find it on Youtube. I loved the interaction Childe and Yoimiya it was fun. I'm glad I go around searching for the old event because it's really helpful to get the full story otherwise you can miss some bigs details (for example after reading the manga, I really recommend you searching for Diluc Event aka Hidden Strife and after Albedo storyquest for example search some of the ex-event with him)

You seeing Pantalon was my reaction when I first watched it, he definitely look like Baizhu ๐Ÿ˜‚

  7. A lot of people already suggested Childe's story quest to make you like him better. But I think a lot of Childe haters come to really like him after a series of the recent Archon Quests that you haven't played yet. His story quest is still fun too, of course, but the recent quests make even his haters that have hated him for years since Liyue, come to like him (not all, but I've seen quite a lot loll)

  8. 5:10 As you can probably see, Scaramouche isn't present. It was revealed in an Inazuma event by Childe that he actually fled with the Gnosis instead of coming back to Snezhnaya. Dottore's comment seems to indicate that he knows where to find him ๐Ÿ˜‰

  9. ๐Ÿ˜‚ โ€œHe reminds me of Baizhu.โ€ Yes! Come on Pantalone ( aka Regrator) open those eyes! We now know that Baizhu had purple or magenta eyes originally, so I really want to know if they have the same eye color! My theory is that they are related.

  10. Hello kb!! Happy new year๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’• Childe is a amazing character. He somehow always have his presence in events. I recommend you do his story quest because it explains a little about him. Cant explain his actions trought. But tbh. Fatui are not really the bad people. Theres is so much lore going on. Genshin is amazing!!

  11. At the video description of the video, theirs actually the names of the Harbingers. Theirs also an inazuma archon quest that actually tells the story of a certain shrine maiden. Won't tell the specific, you can say its one of the factions in their ranks.

You'll be torn up after reading it.

  12. Happy new year! Youโ€™ll meet dottore in Sumeru and the Knave (the woman with silver hair and red eyes) in Fontaine. Also I think that place with a bunch of fire is Natlan so thatโ€™s interesting.

  13. my favorite is hands down the girl laying down on the coffin humming the song in the background lol. We know her name already but i wont say it to spoil anything if you dont want to know it. But yea when this trailer dropped at the end of inazuma every single genshin player was hyped af lol. I mean all fatui they ooze badassery anyone who watched anime knows the bad group of villians are badass lol. Akatsuki from naruto, espada from bleach, warlords & yonkos from one piece, etc etc. The fatui reminds me of those type of neutral guys that have their own agendas.

  15. It is all the Harbingers with two not in it, Signora(she was referred to by her real name, Rozalyne) and Scaramouche as heโ€™s in Sumeru. I donโ€™t know the names of all of them but aside from Tartaglia, the only ones I know are The Knave, Arlecchino(2:05) and Il Dotore(2:55). As for why Collei is in this video, the manga explains why

  16. There's a few things like this where there are things happening in the trailers that's not experienced in the game. Ayato's demo trailer shows what happened to those guards when you went up to Tenshukaku to fight Signora and the Shogun, and no, it wasn't Kujou Sara who did that.

  17. So. Some context for why people love this trailer, besides the fact that it is amazing.

Genshin/Hoyo has a huge problem with leaks. And you couldn't go onto any social media without seeing massive amounts of leaks about Sumeru and future characters at this time. Then this trailer dropped one night, and no one was expecting it. It hadn't been leaked or teased. It dropped out of no where. People were and still are, obsessed with analyzing it and talking about it. It was our first look at Dottore outside the webcomic. Probably my favorite trailer and one of my favorite music tracks.

I'm sure someone has already commented on who everyone is in the trailer, so I won't bore you with that.

As a Childe main, I can't wait for you to play Childe's story quest so you can have lots of conflicted feelings about him lmao Also I love this trailer because out of everyone in it, Childe appears to be the most normal. He was forced to go to the company mandated funeral, and he's going to try to ignore his coworkers as much as possible.

  18. I still have no idea if Signora's dead, or if she'll stay that way: later event storylines (I'll skip stuff which might be spoilers and which you might run into later) imply that not only did she have no reason to still be where we found her but that she might have had foreknowledge of her death. There is a very real chance that (while she actually has grievance with Venti) she was deliberately playing up her villain role to ensure you'd challenge her to a duel right there and would end up declared dead under circumstances leaving no public doubt of it.

It's fitting that a group taking the names of stock characters from Italian commedia dell'arte would also take a half-step back from the play itself to discuss its progress while staying in character.

Finally have some time to watch videos again, and can soon go back to watch the one I'd been waiting for. The storyline in Inazuma isn't actually settled yet, but it doesn't require immediate progress (character story quests will further explore the consequences of the war, the repercussions on the governments, and introduce a few characters who'll end up mattering elsewhere – also, it will be made clearer that your military commission with Watatsumi remains important for paperwork and giving you a "known existence" to Inazuman society and bureaucracy regardless of whether you're actively serving). Can't recall whether you actually went through Sumeru yet, but it's easy enough to get to: either just head west overland from Liyue (there's no clear road since goods mostly travel by water, but there's a lot of small tracks up in the highlands), go west through the surface-level parts of the Chasm (there are clear roads here and it's obvious in retrospect this was the intended route for most players), or finally dive deep – relatively – in the Chasm and figure out how the ecologies interconnect underground (this was my approach, but it did take multiple days of exploration).

Since it could be important for a streamer, be aware that from around this point, it's now possible to get into physical circumstances that make just teleporting out to do something else and then teleporting back impractical: you could end up "stuck" in a chunk of storyline for an hour or two.

  19. So now that you've been introduced to all of the Harbingers, something to note about them is that their code names are all based on character archetypes found within commedia dell'arte, a popular form of Italian theatre back in the day.

2:50 so at this point, Scaramouche had actually gone missing after what went down in Inazuma with the gnosis. A handful of events that followed focused on it, like Childe being in Inazuma to try and track him down. A random minor thing but in another event it was shown that while he was there, he did strike up a friendship with Yoimiya.

Seeing both Dottore and Collei in this video was the manga context I was talking about for this video. Both of these scenes expect you to have read it and to have known about what happened to Collei in that story, and of course it expected you to get hyped up to finally see Collei again for the first time since, which at the time this teaser dropped, would have actually been almost 4 years after the manga.
