Doro is 100% allowed to feel happy about something he enjoys and so does everyone. What is a problem is ignoring the problem. If you ignore a scab it will fester into a wound. I don't think players should be happy with a one time fix, a few more fates or a few more fragile should be met with the same outrage. My biggest problem with Genshit is the resin cap, resin cost, primogem count, primogem cost and the LAYERS of rng. Oh and the fckfest that is the weapon banner, seriously whoever that of that needs to be let go like MiHoyo's gotta be done with them professionally. Speaking of that, they honestly should have replaced the current dept head of Genshin along with Honkai instea of just Honkai, or at least seeing the outrage now they should make that switch ASAP.

I feel like Honkai star rail have a smaller fanbase than genshin and they have to "lure" them in with better rewards. But long time genshinsupporters are of course hurt by the special treatment they're getting. Hoyo should definitely increase rewards in Genshin to make it more even

I like 4.4 so far the region looks great, the characters are great a free 10 pull is welcome. The only thing I can complain about is resin. I play for like 3 patches now and got every character I wanted but can't even build half of them.
Honkai gets a free Ratio and we get a free L+
Let´s not make as if hsr is "better" just because they give more rewards, it´s a lower quality game overall, that being said, Genshin has been extremely stingy because it simply has no competitors right now, and whales keep spending like nothing, not much will change if this continues like this.

If you know anything about gacha games, gacha games reward the players because the only reason ANY gacha game is alive is due to its playerbase. Genshin impact gets billions upon billions of dollars every year. BILLIONS. You know how much Gacha games usually make? Usually not even a million. Gacha games die if their players do not give money. And all they can offer is extra 3 wishes, a free 4star skin of your choice at the cost of a PS5 in china, so on. Trust me, Genshin is not losing any money by giving better rewards. In fact, giving rewards in gacha is actually a tactic to keep players playing and spending BECAUSE THEY FEEL APPRECIATED and they feel that their money is WORTH IT. ITS A SIGN OF RESPECT. 13 wishes is straight up disrespectful. Theyre giving away a bonus 3 wishes ( about $5). Thats not even going to get you a 4star.
Asking for a standard 5 star of your choice is completely reasonable FOR ANY GACHA GAME, asking for Qol improvements is completely reasonable PERIOD, asking for endgame content is completely reasonable, asking for fairer rewards is reasonable. Yet genshin cant do the BASICS. Thats why people are mad. Many people LOVE this game, LOVE the world-the story the designs the characters.. but at the end of the day… its just the same old content.
At this point the rewards arent even the problem. Give us Endgame. Give us players the respect and love we deserve for giving genshin billions of dollars. I sound very angry, I know, and thats because I am. IN ALL 3 YEARS, the gameplay has remained the same. The game I once loved remains the same. The game BILLIONS of people spent on has stayed the same and abuses its players for ASKING NORMAL THINGS EVERY OTHER GACHA GAME HAS!!! All critisms people have made, IGNORED AND SILENCED. And its because of Cai Haoyu. The greediest co-founder. That one ruined Honkai Impact 3rd at the beginning until the ownership was transferred to David Jiang, and Cai Haoyu began to work on Genshin Impact instead. L producer. We are not dramatic for asking to be treated better. We are not dramatic for being treated like garbage. They gain billions and they cant even implement basic features that HSR implented on day 1 (Same company btw).
Honestly, I dont really care for the rewards in this update. The only reason I'm excited for 4.4 is to see the new lore that Lantern Rite will bring.
HSR livestream is coming in a few hours, and it can make genshin drama even hotter. And another 6 weeks later, HSR's anniversary

You know what, at this point I just don’t care. I’m chilling in this game losing almost every 50/50 on 80+ pity on the only few standard characters I don’t want and my tablet freezes often when I play, but graphics is so pretty and I only pull for characters that I like which is like almost always 3 months gap for farming primos for them… it’s already bad so what’s the difference if it gets worse.
I mean it would be nice for us to get better rewards but if it’s not happening then well.. I’m gonna live with what I have
