  1. I wish they would instead of putting in the effort of taking down leakers and instead rework electro 🤣. I mean if they have time to go through all the trouble of doing this, they could put more time into working on the game 😏.

  2. Taking down the entire domain is a bit extreme but they are hosting content that spoils a lot of Mihoyo's plans for their game so of course they're going to take legal action against it. I mean people could just stop leaking and enjoy the game but I don't have a borderline obsession with leaking inside information so what do I know?

  3. Super sus we lose Honey Hunter when miHoYo begins releasing characters like Kokomi that have -100% crit passives. Really wonder if they’re going to start making more ridiculous character kits leaning them toward crushing leaks

  4. although mihoyo does have the right to do this, which i'm not really against, but i think taking down leaks altogether like this is just a scummy thing to do, they give almost no info on the upcoming characters until they release the character which puts a very tight time limit on the player and pressures them to roll even if they dont have enough money to do so "out of the fear of missing out on the character", I know my opinion has no real value here but I'd like the share it nonetheless haha they should take down leaks, but giving a little more info on the upcoming characters like their skillset or some ingame footage or something just enough to form a first impression so people can decide if it's worth saving up money or primos for. Am i asking for much here?

  5. 🌸😼It is to be uttered that Honey Impact was an unknown to prior to today’s coverage and thus I say while their loss cannot weigh upon my shoulders as it does the community, after coming to know the wealth of information they provided to the community, I say may they react in peace (figuratively speaking of course).😼🌸

  6. I completely understand story leaks and things of that nature, but character leaks and their materials are not an issue imo. They help players prepare early and save for upcoming characters that they desire. Taking away the availability of character information isn’t going to do any good when the majority of Genshin’s player base is f2p. Mihoyo should just show us road map themselves so we can prepare without worry.

  7. Mihoyo showing their greedy money face! A very ugly one.
I used the website because the official one is garbage! It has no detailed info what charackter need wich material.
You CANT see the needed material untill you OWN the actuall charackter.
    Same for weapons.<<
As for leaks: if they are so "against" it. Simply get better Beta tester lol not these amateurs, posting stuff all over the web for some pityfull likes & followers.

  8. mihoyo should provide the service that honeyhunter website provides, beta testing info and future content road map. I hope they're smart enough to fill in the gap, as there's definitely a demand for these infos. I have no problem them striking honeyhunter as they gone too far with the leaking, it ruins my in-game experience when i get spoiled everytime those youtubers put leak images on their thumbnail.

  9. This could be avoided if beta was open to public. But then, Mihoyo couldn't scam you with constellations like with Raiden by locking 50% of the character behind a paywall

  10. On the subject of accusing so many people of using datamined assets, I don't think Honey was referring just to leaked content but to game assets in general. Where does Mihoyo officially post/upload character models, images, item icons, etc? These files are mined from the game itself, and wikis/content creators use them without considering that these assets are also technically illegal to use.

And of course I agree with you that Mihoyo has the RIGHT to take legal action. Of course they do, these laws are in place to protect their game and work from being maliciously stolen or messed with. But the better questions is SHOULD Mihoyo take that legal action in this case? Personally I don't think they should. There's no way to prove that they have lost money due to leaks, because they cannot prove that the reason players aren't spending money is solely due to having knowledge that wasn't officially revealed by Mihoyo. This is overkill even if the only purpose is to protect their content from being leaked.

Game wikis and databases run by fans are a longtime staple in this industry and are usually left alone because in the grand scheme of things they do not harm the companies enough to warrant legal action. What will Mihoyo do next, crack down on all the small artists selling fan art and making fan merch? Again, they have the legal RIGHT to do so, but think about what this does to the community that is supporting the game. No one is getting rich off of the works they are making from this game, so why does Mihoyo feel so threatened by them despite continuing to smash earnings each month? I can tell the people working on this game love it and put their heart and soul into it, but the people in the back room only care about maximizing $$$ and it shows in times like this.

  11. FIrst of all, they made more money than millions of us in our entire life together, stop being greedy like the guy said.

Second of all, you made a gacha game, a really scam system that should be prohibited in the international law. Pushing people use a lot of money through their frustration and someone can fucking get all he wants with 100 usd and someone else's gonna get what he wants with 5x this amount. WE TALK ABOUT REAL MONEY HERE, HOW THIS SYSTEM IS ALLOWED ?

So be fucking grateful to make tons of money with your scam system, deal with leaks and shut the fuck up trash company

  12. They deserved to get that.
Just like you said about playing with fire.
If that ends up take down honeyhunter domain entirely , its ok.
They act as if they do nothing wrong,
Just because of there is many people doing the same thing or backend by some community,
Its not justify their wrong doing.

  13. Mihoyo has every right to do this. Especially considering the recent beidou drama. Most of the information that people are using to attack mihoyo was gained through leaks. It caused a really good character to be overly scrutinized unnecessarily.

If trends like this continue in the community, and the community uses beta test information to attack mihoyo, then expect the Mihoyo to get even more stingy about what they release.

  14. I dunno about the political side of things, but I think that mihoyo will hopefully communicate with honey impact under wraps so that they'll just take down the genshin side of things. But this is just me being optimistic
