Genshin will always be more popular because it's the easier game it's like League and dota2 and it was released when everyone can't go out and have fun . I swear their dendro shit is just pure gimik . RN Tof issues isn't being addressed , players out cry for value packs close to CN , ideally if we are paying the same value we deserve to get the same. And retention and trying to acquire new players. Standard banner SSR virtually place holders and is not much of a use unless your frost .
ToF is better than genshin in everything except story!
I don't want Tower of Fantasy to be the Genshin Impact Killer. It would be disrespectful to people who invested a lot of emotions and money into the game. I hope that Tower of Fantasy becomes a completely different game than Genshin with time. Maybe even do a collab with hoyoverse. Live and let live. Everyone wants to pull all character and crying wants to quit because they cant pull all the characters and im here frost main skips lin and alyss and still enjoying playing with my 6stars tsubasa, 6stars saki and 1star frigg. Saving for standard banner frigg and newer altered weapon (fiona) to replace my tsubasa.😂
I play both and i love both of them. If you don't like play TOF then just stop. continue to play genshin and vice versa. Its simple just don't force yourself to play games that you don't like.
well u can get crow samir meryl or whatever char u want to max stars for free just by collecting gold nucleus , is just that people are lazy to work for it
Having originally started on ps4 and then migrated to PC I cannot stress enough how badly that turned out.
If your account was created on ps4 you have to top up on that ps4, AND that wasn't enough for Sony, they then forced players to collect battle pass rewards on your ps4. Genshin does not run nearly as well on ps4 as it does on my potato computer, so being forced to still play it that way is a tragedy.
I think of the standard banner SSRs to be the actual 4 stars. Everyone will eventually max out their standard banner SSRs at one point.
Wow this is a horrible take. Let me put it to you like this. ToF was already digging its grave. Genshin just came by and gave them a better shovel. I mean seriously that's what happened. Viewership and interest tanked right after launch because the game was a horrible mess. Full of bugs, hackers, horrible decisions, you couldn't even mantle most of the time. You didn't mention any of this and just summed everything up as ToF couldn't compete against Genshin. ToF had potential but got rushed out.

Genshin impact is just a casual game with nice graphics music and a good storyline. The combat is easy to learn and spiral abyss is extremely easy also. Hoyoverse target audience are just casuals who want to play 1 hour a day or less spend some money and simp for anime characters and then do something else.
I think you should stop sharing knowledge without knowing the source of Genshin Killer. Hotta DID NOT actually said that they are going to kill genshin. It's a clear fact that it was a bad use if influence and now he have to face lawsuit… He was just fabricated the whole thing. And ToF lost a lot of Honeymoon Phase player tho it's nowhere near dead. NGL, when the trend "Genshin killer" is popular, other games are also marked as "Genshin killer" by youtubers and some CCs, I will take "NNK cross worlds", "Legend of neverland", "Blue protocol", "Wuthering Waves" as example, don't you think?
Why do people keep comparing games. "Another genshin killer" as if you cant play both games at once? I swear every 2 weeks, creators keep posting dead content like this. You can never be happy for your fellow gamers who enjoy what they like playing.

Hey i player genshin now near to 3 years and was a whale in genshin now i play ToF and have more fun than every time in genshin.
I find ToF killed Genshin because genshin have nothing to do in end Game and you one hit everyone and ToF you dont can one shot anything if you are a whale you can solo Bosses but not one hit this and you can do in end Game much stuff and a + Point for ToF you get the Charaktere with the original weapon.
To your Point in the Video with sr weapons you can do anough dmg for everything its not genshin one hit play with every Charakter but you can do with sr enough!
In my personal opinion the genshin Story ist not to long the Story is only bad because its every time the same and its only a replay from the start cutscene!

Your title is easy to answer it, first of all ToF is a boring game and sometimes it's so laggy on my phone and on my PC. Next is the Black Crystals you can only get those BC through chests but in Vera map there's no BC you can get through chests, the company forcing the players top-up in-game, and I realize I top-up in the wrong game. And on the event "Gachapon Event with Skin" the players can only get 5 tokens each it's so unfair that the other players get the skin but the others is not, in Genshin there's a free skin but in ToF there's no free skin 🥴. And after I quit ToF there's nothing new. Now I will not coming back in ToF it's so boring, ToF is suck, and ToF is not F2P friendly game. I'm done to game suck game. And I deleted my account. And I almost about the monsters, it's super tanky but in Genshin you can killed solo but in ToF it's not 🤮.
Genshin is single player. Totally different experiences, idk why everyone rides this conversation this so hard
I still can't get over the fact, you can pull for a 5 * unit in ToF and it's worthless without stars. Getting a character in Genshin they are good to go from the start, and get better with artifacts that come out.
"Wait for 2.0" I still remember that meme ToF players was saying as the game was bleeding players. ToF offered tons of endgame but no one wanted to invest that much time into it.
People enjoy a quick 1-2 hours of gameplay like LoL or Genshin. They don't wanna be forced to play everyday to keep up like on ToF. Along with hacks and all the issues, you can see why people don't play.

Basically Genshin is for casuals who want to feel like they are good at a game without putting in any effort (not like there IS anything to be good AT in Genshin), while ToF is for dedicated/hardcore gamers who want to put in the grind to see their character progress. I think im one of the few people who play ToF who has never played Genshin and never will. I don't enjoy single player games, they just are too boring to me. I have on the other hand played almost every MMORPG out there right now, personally I enjoy ToF for its MMO elemets. I have a great crew who are active and we do content together every day, I can measure my progress and power level against others, and I have options for pvp (which seem to be increasing) when I want to pwn some nubs. ToF is far from a perfect game, and I personally am not a huge fan of gacha in general or RNG gearing, but I think there are a ton of positives about the game which outweigh the negatives for me.
idk if it was by the community or by the developers themselves but I think the game already putting an unnecessary pressure on itself by mentioning that tof will be the genshin killer countless of time when it was first released, saying that kind of stuff meaning the bar will be set high and the expectations will be immense, any shortcomings will be judged hard
