  1. I started playing this game again, and I cannot stand this boss. It takes way too long to farm its drops and it's very annoying that it spends 60% of its time in the air or underground. It won't even kill you, it just stalls and pads out the time. Very diabolical boss design. 😂

  2. Genshin has been a straight clownshow lately. I am still super mad about how mid Cyno is, how absolute trash Dehya is and the garbage banner tactics they use like new four stars on banners that are totally unrelated to that character. That whole endgame anxiety thing pissed me off bigtime. This game used to be my favorite, now it aggravates me to no end and I avoid playing it. The poor decisions HYV makes give me anxiety.

  3. It's terrible. And since I personally like to do abyys with as many teams as I can, when abyys isn't fun it ruins the patch for me.

  4. I’ve been playing genshin every day since release… and I can’t clear the new abyss with full 36 stars because of the wenut. Mihoyo literally designed a boss that doesn’t even require any skill. It’s literally just a dps check to make sure you pulled for those ugly waifu archons and are conforming to dendro meta even if you don’t like it.

  5. The wenut boss is clearly designed to just waste time and dps check. Its annoying man. Just like the cryo shield on the new guy. The game in my opinion is already scaling hp, defense and attack on enemies decently enough to make it harder but here they are adding another boss that'll fly around for 2 minutes wasting your time. They still like the whole hp lock on enemies also. Realistically gachas are never hard if you keep up with the game, metas, builds, etc even for free to play, but here they purposely make things annoying for no reason when they don't need to be. Also I still get fking pissed they haven't fixed the retry in abyss, when you hit "Retry." and all your cool downs don't reset (Sacrificials, favonious, double casts on elemental skills.) and you have to stand there and wait for everything to reset so you can continue testing out builds and teams. Something that should've been fixed a few months after the game was released.

  6. I must agree that 3.5 has been disappointing. Happy Eula is getting a support, and I'm sad about Dehya issues. However, they did just add a new section of feedback for Dehya asking for a lot more detail.

  7. i have to admit the boss is annoying to fight, but its nowhere near impossible.
    the thing is, its one of the very few bosses in the game with a 100% predictable pattern, and you can know with 100% certainty where it will pop up and when, to the exact second on the clock's timer since the start of the floor.
    this means that "down time" you have can be used to prepare and prefire long animation skills like bursts, or get buffs going before it surfaces.

    i had totally given up until i realized this. then i got it fairly easily with a little planning and thought, and not just going unguabungua.

  8. Yeah this might be legit the worst patch. Very little new content, we got the windblume festival but even during the OG windblume patch they added 4 hangouts as well. Dehya feels almost purposefully sabagotage levels of bad, no Eula rerun with Mika for some reason. And Wenut in abyss is pure anti fun.

  9. Jean is a horrible physical dps bc her multipliers are shit and her animation speeds are slow, like legit worse than dehya bad

  10. Mika has battery issues, shit cryo app, and buffs that get heavily watered down by hitlag (physical fischl is his best case scenario) being good only at C6

  11. Bro this boss drove me crazy!! Lost all my stars cause i had to wait for a 1 sec window 😂🤣 i couldnt even cast skills cause before the animations were up he'd be up and gone again. So annoying. Not good genshin….not good

  12. I agree completely. They are losing my interest, and I been on board since Week 1. They are forcing certain team comps on 12 by purposely wasting time with enemy placement and Wenut. Beyond that, for a game whose content is characters, the characters recently aren't doing it for me, although I do love Alhaitham and Wanderer. Dehya going to Standard Banner makes me not want to roll on it anymore, because they diluted it with a sh*t character.

  13. Definitely a lot of missed marks this version, and Mika not working with many people isn't crazy to me since Gorou scales with like 4? And we might have already seen the end of Defense's era. Fontaine doesn't have to be full of HP scaling characters and we've run out of stats to try and do kit scaling off of so there could always be some doubling back… just any Defense-scaling that isn't a Geo character will be without a true support.

    Mika… Mika… guess I'll have to wait till I get a copy unexpectedly to really test him out with my own teams, but the reviews have been pretty consistently low. I was excited about a 20+% attack speed buff but in the end most of my teams end up being quick swaps anyways, not quite the game-changer I thought it was on paper.

  14. Sumeru was a rollercoster, the exploration team did great, but character and boss designs have been really shit. Nahida is kinda boring but I don´t complain because she is broken. Alhaitham is fun and good, but that is because they took a charater kit people loved and gave it a new Unit with a better element. All the other sumeru character have been plain bad or ristrictive. Wanderer is a mini game and wenut boring time waste

I agree in fact they say that this game is supposed to be less stressful , but even Savvy a good YouTuber said and I quote, don't feel bad if you can't beat this boss it's one that you may need 5-star characters or five-star weapons even people who are sponsored by Mahalia think it's stupid and let's say you get those characters you still have to get money so you have to whale to win pay to win I think Wales should stop spending money if they want more content

  16. I normally attempt Floor 12, even though I get one or two stars. However, this time, I took one look at the enemies and decided not to try. I already dislike fighting the Ruin Serpent for the same reason that it spends a lot of time underground.

It's hilarious that Hoyoverse made Mika require this boss's materials for his Ascensions even though it doesn't make any sense with Mika being a Mondstadt character and due to the fact that this boss has absolutely nothing to do with Cryo and doesn't even drop the Jades Mika needs for his Ascensions.
    Just an absolute mess through and through.
    You already know that the only reason Hoyoverse did this is because the boss is new and they want to have you fight him more as well as have more characters in the game that need this boss's materials even if it makes no sense in this case.

  18. This patch has just been a patch of flaws. Deyha,Mika,Wenut in abyss,Eula not being on banner during windblume but one of the supports that looks made just for her is on banner and have no synergy with the 5 stars.

  19. They need to fire whatever evil spirited creature in the design team making more bosses that go underground every 2 seconds. Everyone has been complaining about bosses that go invulnerable constantly since the hypostasis and they just keep doing this. It's so frustrating, it's not fun, it's not hard, it's just B.S. to put enemies like this in a time trial with no way to force them out of invulnerability.

  20. I still like the wenut more than any abyss before dendro. Back then I couldn't 36 star, hated abyss and was anxious about it because I felt like it forced me to build characters I didn't like, like Xiangling.
    I tried Childe international and couldn't 36 star. I didn't know about double swirling.
    I tried rational and that was even slower.
    Ganyu melt was better but I hated that team and couldn't get off all the shots becauseI take ages aiming.
    Xiao wasn't fast enough. Itto wasn't fast enough. Yanfei double hydro wasn't fast enough.
    My only fast team was Kaeya freeze.

    We have akasha now so I know why those teams weren't good enough: my artifact luck is garbage and it's apparently normal to have at least 20CV on every piece, and 40CV isn't winning the lottery (I got my first usable 40CV piece after almost 2 years of playing).

    But dendro released, artifact luck isn't as important anymore and I get to play characters I like. So figuring out how to best murder the wenut is a fun challenge instead of the frustration of the old abysses.
