Genshin Impact 2.7 OFFICIALLY Delayed INDEFINITELY

Just recently Hoyoverse has announced a 240 day Ayaka banner. Does this mean that we won’t know when 2.7 is coming for the foreseeable future? In this video I break down what I think with regards to this news.

  1. I’m just happy that my girl Ayaka is getting the longest running banner in the history of this game, and I also get more chances to get Sayu. I’m thinking about getting Yelan and maybe Kazuha so now I have plenty time to save, daily commissions alone in this patch would probably be enough for me to get at least one of the limited five stars

  2. i maxed out the reforged and almost all the 4 star weapons before i got a single mythsplitter

(i spent $120 rolling for the mythsplitter and ayaka – it was not worth it)

  3. I hope everyone in Shanghai gets through this ok first and foremost. Thier health is way more important than a game. From Genshin the game standpoint now more than ever lack of permanent content is really going to hurt player retention more than ever. The longer the delay goes on the more and more interest in the game will drop. But on the positive note, maybe Mihoyo takes low player interest from the delay and makes permanent content more of a priority after the delay in the future. When you have a game that depends on events to get players excited, take that away and what do you have? I'm hoping they see how important permanent content from this and work on making improvements to that aspect of the game. Anyways saw the video and it was interesting, I actually stopped logging into to Genshin a few weeks ago and even before the delay have lost interest, even the next region didn't excite me anymore. Maybe the effects of the delay from a gameplay standpoint opens thier eyes to making more permanent improvements for a better game.

  4. I don't like defending corporations, but the way some players are handling us extremely disappointed, people are dying and out of food, but they only care about their gambling addiction

  5. in the morning, i was exited to hear, that I have more time to get Ayaka. I am a very new player and that's why I haven't had enough time to gain primogems. I used my all when the banner came and lost the 50/50. Yesterday, when it wasn't even a week left. I was sinking into the swamp of despair but today, when I got to hear that I have more time, it gave me hope!

Today I played quite a lot and got my self exactly 10 wishes. I wished, and got lucky (at pity 42) and I got her. Now I have her and I'm extremely happy for it! But oh, yeah…now it's pointless even for me that the banner lasts more…

I really hope that the test runs refreshes, so I can get some Ayaka Ascension material πŸ˜€

  6. Delays happen, is what it is these days… but why extend Ayaka banner indefinitely? Why not change it up every few weeks? Sure, I could use a few more Ayaka constellations, but I don't need any more Razors or Rosarias, it's getting rediculous!

  7. Bro no one gonna complain the devs in hoyov is having trouble in shanghai they literally went overboard for us to give us so much primo like their lives come first i just hope for their safety

  8. I feel like the main problem with pulling for Ayaka.. even if you have a long time to pull for her, what events are going to give you enough primos to replace those primos so you have enough for Yelan/Kuki? Seems like you'll just be depleting your primos stash with no way to replace/build them back up??? πŸ€”

  9. i hope everything gets resolved as soon as possible for the devs and i hope they're safe as for the game if we do get reruns of events in the mean time to keep the flow of the game as it is were good if not well then it will hurt the game over all and yes were expecting compensation rewards it sucks for Hoyovers but every other game compensates there player base when there's a problem and with content servers bugs or what ever simply when the game isn't functioning as usual so yea i hope they keep the good will of the players with appropriation compensation in the mean time im sure there revenue will go back to normal when ever the new patch comes out as the new hero looks to be super wanted as a new meta hero on pair with Ganyu so there's that

  10. IMO the things that delay their progress are the new characters and stories, they need to do a lot of recordings with the VAs especially when Sumeru is close, but currently everyone is on lockdown and it's pretty harsh right there. But any projects that can be done from home will not halt, so I think battlepass will be updated, and we'll expect more mini-game events coming out at least for now, until Shanghai lockdown is over. Ayaka is one of the best DPS and I honestly don't mind if they extend the banner, coz I still want to get Mistsplitter. Beijing currently has started implementing small scale lockdown too due to the rise of covid patients there, so I think ToF's release might also be delayed.

  11. I understand the delay. But this really goes to show that Hoyoverse really needs to push permeant late game events like labyrinth or Co-op Raids to keep late game players, like me, to to keep us entertained and prevent burnout. This is especially true since its 3 weeks. 3 weeks of doing dailies and resin dumping, nothing else.

I want to make it ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that I hope the people in Shanghai are safe and well in the dire time.
