You know I hate to be negative but tbh the character leaks are cool, but out of all the leaks yesterday there was nothing about gameplay. Something for end game content or a resin fix so to me it doesn't do a ton to know there's all these characters coming out that I can't level. Kind of makes me not want to spend money to roll tbh
Mihoyo can make the game more enjoyable when the resin are spent: add some random chest all over the world so we can explore to find them. Easy solution. What make them not to do this?

not interested in Klee at all… but for my 2nd account on ps4 I will… its 63 into pity 100%… my 9yr old niece plays on it so I keep up with that account just for her. she wants klee.. one of the last survey on ps4 when they ask for your age group I answered under 10…. survey ended right away… lol

Maybe this is a big brain move by Mihoyo for the wellbeing of us. Stopping people from summoning for klee now will save their wallets for these later characters. We all know that some of us can't control ourselves when a new banner pops up regardless of who's on it. If we know before hand whos on what upcoming banner these types of people would still be living in houses.

Looking at what we know about Yoimiya's personality, she is basically an upgraded Amber. If she gets a lot of screen time in Inazuma, she'll probably be as well liked as a character as Amber, but much more useful as a unit, for those lucky, save-y, or whale-y enough to roll her.

Bussiness wize…was too risky. One day before a new patch arrives and showing what comes after it is still a risky move. I want to see how the results end for this move.
Don’t know, but I’m ar56, skipping Klee and Kazuhiro, and regardless of whatever other games come out, I’m still playing my daily Genshin, because I just find it an enjoyable game to play even if it’s just an hour a day.

But honestly, I agree that this is possibly done just to grab our attention and to try to keep us in the game. So far, I believe that the amount of players starting/playing Genshin fully outweighs those that are quitting.
For information when you said things about ppl summoning for Klee you were a bit wrong.
Some surveys has been done and the results was something like
20% pull on Klee banner
10% was about to pull on Klee but changes their mind since the "leaks"
70% don't pull on Klee
So if you think nobody will pull on Klee you're wrong and if you think that informations has changed nothing well you're wrong too.
That's all.
A lot of people are saying that the 1.7 leaks is killing the 1.6 hype but I was personally never hyped for 1.6 the moment I found out it was a filler patch with just events and 1 main story quest. So finally knowing that we are getting Inazuma and seeing a lot of the new characters I personally feel way more excite than I have ever been.
I'm gonna try pulling for Yoimiya on my side account since I happen to need a pyro DPS there anyway, and because I live for that Dr. Stone cavewoman vibe!
And I think them releasing info about upcoming characters is a step in the right direction and I hope they'd keep doing it, because I absolutely hate being kept in the dark until last minute and I don't enjoy leaks since they also contain a shit ton of spoilers regarding events, quests and regions and that usually kills the hype for me instantly
If they start paid dlcs most of ftp will leave even if is an extra map because it's already so hard to get areas to explore, genshin is in a weird place for some reason
I rolled on this klee banner, I wanted another klee for c1 or c2 but only got Mona I also needed my c4 sucrose also needed my c6 Barbara and c anything fiscle this was a good banner for me next banner is meh…
Oh they definitely wetting their pants. We have e3 coming up this weekend which about to introduce a bunch of new ip that going to make genshin impact irrelevant. This game success would’ve never reach this high if COVID wasn’t a factor. Watch how their revenue go down the toilets
leaking characters is tolerable in my opinion. what's more damaging is leaking story plotlines music and dialogue, which impacts people's experience in the game more.
