This is the first “official” Mihoyo Response to the Genshin Impact Anniversary Drama and it’s come from Games Radar+ The Genshin Impact Community Is in Shambles Due to the Recent Genshin Impact Anniversary Drama backlash and disappointment. Mihoyo has recieve major backlash from the Genshin Impact Community due to the recent Genshin Impact 1 year anniversary rewards and events. Mihoyo states that they are listening to players and that there will be new Genshin Impact rewards and events soon. But will this be enough to calm down those that are still upset?

Hello everyone, hopefully this means that we will start to see substantial change in the future (Hopium) Although I'm still skeptical, I hope these are steps towards getting things back to a calmer state in the community. I think this has left a huge mark on Mihoyo's reputation as a company, but only time will tell if things will truly change for the better. I currently have a few videos planned, but not sure how many I can actually get to since I'm a bit tired and need some rest. But I definitely want to at least make at least 1 or 2 new Kokomi videos, so keep a look out for that. Hope you are all doing well!

Not enough honestly. They've been cheap, self-centered, and insulting throughout the entire thing, and still even when they finally respond, it's through an intermediary, and basically they were forced to. Even then they're trying to cheap out on it as much as possible.
Like if someone insults you, and then you have to force them to apologize after multiple days when it should be readily apparent they fucked up, and they're still even choosing their words to try to twist it into a non-apology? That's what they're doing. It's gross, and you should write that person off entirely. They aren't worth your time.

they could follow in dokkan's footsteps, where they gave 10 stones a day during the 350 mil calibration, new events and a new end game missions. but this is mihoyo and they are greedy and it seems that they dont care about their player base
Remember that Mihoyo is still a business. They need to make money to survive even tho they made a lot of money they’re still need to pay their tons of employees/devs and many things
as a f2p,I can't complain about the rewards.

I was never mad about the rewards, Honkai also gave us practically the same for their 1st anniversary. Not to mention the relatively generous in-game event rewards.
It's the poor management that is upsetting. Coupled with previous issues with the game that they pretty much swept under the rug.
And obviously I don't speak for everyone but I don't want compensation. NO amount of gems can undo this much damage.
I want acknowledgement, clarity, and improvement.

My only concern is that it took this much effort from the community for them to at least hear us or respond for that matter
I think this bundle is a part of those 'more rewards' and we won't be getting anything else now. 🤔
as players we should be happy with having to play their game. No one forces you to doing your dailies/buying welkin/spend great amount of money. It breaks my heart as genuinely love the game how people demanding this and that. Everything we ever really need mihoyo will make sure we have it. I still enjoy this game (I played since 1.1) and I hope we all can show our genuine love and support for mihoyo.
I am still waiting for them to fix the few latest hero released including Raiden. As for myself, I'll stop buying gems and bp. Will not stop buying welkin just because I want to still support and value their game and for the time I've spent with them. I actually sent them feedback about this on survey and not review bombing them though I was quite tempted lol. It was a really bad way to handle their player base.
It's enough to bump my review to 2 stars. But I will give them a 10% chance at a 3 star review.
Any crappy free 5 star for the any would be good enough XD kinda strugling withouth a good fire unit….

They added a reward but they'll take it back at some point that you won't even notice it, like decrease the future rewards from stages and events

I supported the genshin community through it all until I heard they were review bombing honkai impact at this point people were taking it to far

I know people are angry because Mihoyo hasn't been answering properly to their demands but I don't really get why people were angry at first… I don't understand well why people were hoping to be rewarded so much for this anniversary, honestly I really don't think that having the first gift (the connexion event) would have been bothering me, same for my friends. Can someone explain to me why they are angry for?
