This is a very good comparison!! This also shows how important weapon passives can be for the dmg of a character. R5 lithic spear is just too good for a 4star weapon, but ofc it is not even that easy to refine and have enough liyue characters that synergize well with our boy Xiao.

I use Vermillion set. Skyward R1 crit80% critdmg168% atk2250 I can do 35k per plunge. When I use full buff team and food I can do 100k per plunge. I waiting homa my stat is great I will do 130k++ damage per plunge when I get it
