NOTE: @ 13:07 I mention Kachina with the new artifact set – that was a failed edit on my part, was supposed to say if you're using Xiangling/Benny duo (without Emilie), Kachina might be nice to boost Pyro DMG (instead of usual Anemo VV Shred option)

NOT ONLY does Kinich has the same voice actor as Sasuke, but Ajaw also has the same voice actress as NARUTO.

After all show cases of Natlan characters, at this, I really hope that reviewers can incorporate the nuke dmg / total dmg /dps drop of a Natlan character when outside of Natlan. I mean Natlan characters are great, but to me, it's kinda like having a 1 year / 5.X buff (or as I call it, Natlan subscription lol) and they may fall behind hard once we get to Scheznaya (or new areas outside Natlan) or even if they are power crept by new mechanics / characters

my assumption for the very low cr for his weapon is because his set gives him 40%… why not just give it a CD stat, cause 11% CR at lvl 90 doesnt feel good

I like him, but the only pyro characters i have built are arlecchino and lyney, so i wont be able to get much use out of him since hes a burn reliant dendro main dps.
Until they release a pyro support who functions similarly to raiden shogun (off field electro follow up attacks), or miko/furina (off field summons that apply elemental application and damage) as the skill i dont think ill get much use out of him.
Guoba is too stationary, dehyas skill doesnt apply follow up attacks frequently enough, thomas application is his burst.
And no, i wont be using bennet for him. im not a big fan of benmets playstyle, even as nothing more than a dps increase. i would rather just pull for mavuika when shes releaaed as hopefully an off field pyro dps.

this is what I hate about how Mihoyo releases characters, and why they also need to do something about the banner, from having too many characters in the game now.
When Dendro was released, I was really liking Burning, but obviously there were hardly anything viable teams….. ok, there were no viable teams for burning. By the time Emilie came out, I was already over Burning, but still enjoyed it a little bit…. but I figured one character isn't going to change much and Emilie is niche.
NOW Mihoyo realsing Kinich, who I am very interested in getting…. but won't, because I don't have Emilie. And you might be saying "just pull the characters you want" (which is what I do)… i won't be able to play Kinich without that nagging in the back of my mind about how I skipped Emilie…. so I will not be getting Kinich… ALL THANKS to how Mihoyo releases characters, and knowing Emilie won't be around for 6-12 months.

Kinda love him. I already knew I was 100% going to pull him for the Overworld Mobility alone (since they teased it in the Natlan Trailer) but I wasn't expecting it to be even better than Kazuha's midair mobility (in terms of height and distance). Even the combat looked fun (if a bit jank at times like the mid air strike but hopefully that will be fixed by launch)! The one thing that was made EXTREMELY clear in this video was to try and avoid playing him with construct characters (Zhongli, Geo Traveler, etc) so that he doesn't get trapped in between the constructs for his DDR (Big Shot). It also seems Thoma is (indirectly) getting stronger over time from his initial release which makes me quite happy since I like our Kamisato housekeeper very much 🧡♥
Now we need a pyro Xinque +emely to make kinnich insane 😂
