okay it feels like this place needs some moderation. first of all, I really want the community that gravitates around my videos to be polite with each other. we’re all here because we like this game, why be toxic towards one another? I will delete any comments that include personal attacks or general negativity towards other users. secondly, if you like this game, please be respectful to people who work on it. including voice actors. besides disrespecting the voice actor who did a job that many people enjoy some people in the comments have the audacity to disrespect the English voiceover in general. meaning you not only question the work done by one voice actor but also the sound director, the casting director and so many others. these people all did their jobs and did brilliantly and if you don’t enjoy it, it’s just a question of taste. english version is not trash, neither is any other. the work done on this game is impressive. the only trash I see is the behavior of certain people here. once again, I will moderate comments.
——————————————— update for many concerned people who are not concerned enough to check the video description before claiming I’m spreading misinformation. this video DOES NOT show the correct PRONUNCIATION or TRANSCRIPTION of the name Klee in different languages. this video solves a single purpose – it is an answer to one of my comments under the other video. the comment said that “Kah-Lee” sounds very cute and many people were guessing which Klee’s VA made it sound that amusing. i found voice lines where Klee says her name in each language short enough to fit in the YouTube Shorts limit and wrote HOW I HEAR them saying the word to find who says Kah-Lee! there is even a term for “spelling what you hear” in linguistics, I’m not trying to be disrespectful to the other language or say I’m showing the right transcription here.
it’s sickening how some people are running to white-knight Chinese transcription trying to protect Asian culture in this video that is called this way for a reason and even has a disclaimer in the description but others cannot read the pinned comment and continue to insult the English VA Poonam Basu who is of Asian origin herself. these are two different problems but their contrast is mind breaking.
Klee has to have one of my favorite english voices! Her voice just has this unique, slightly fuzzy quality to it that's so cute and feels so fitting. All of her VAs do a great job!
English Klee voice is one of the most unique voices I've heard acted out. Like i swear I've never heard anything close to it it's so cool and creative.
Idk who voices her but they have such a unique and awesome style!
The English klee kinda seems to change as they've added new voice lines. It's become higher pitched and sometimes makes her sound like a gremlin when it rains. I'm not mad since it's funny and I don't blame the VA since they're quite literally just doing what they're told. You can't beat the classics.

Japanese: has more of a kid voice so it really matches klee perfectly
English: super iconic, and her va completely captures the essence of klee’s personality
Korean: absolutely adorable- like do i have to elaborate?
Chinese: i personally didn’t like the beginning because it seemed less childlike than the others but nonetheless it was still an amazing and adorable version of klee.
I feel like they all have a different perspective of Klee which is why they sound different from each other. it’s a good thing too bc we can see the different sides of her character in different perspectives. this goes for all the characters in genshin too.
