If dotorre can create SEGMENTS of himself then he must be able to create SEGMENTS of other people and as there are rumours of the Captain coming in 6.x versions it could be that tsaritsa ordered the doctor to create a 'segment' of the Captain of that might not be the same but have characteristics that benefit the fatui, so we might get a "The Captain" boss.
In the end it's all a theory.

Good choices for harbingers getting the gnosis! Pantelione and Columbine are really good choices. I had also hear Childe would be back, but he should only be back as a replacement for Capitano! Then if it is Doctorre, he still has a fight with Wanderer to finish. Of course I kind of think that will be toward the end of the story, if this game ever really ends.

The Heavenly Principles seem to be the white blood cells of the world. Your white blood cells might catch some healthy cells when it's going after an infection, but ultimately it's not out of malice that those extra cells got caught up in the carnage.
Dudes, Skirt is about to be released and she seems to be quantum, or wtv quantum will be called in Genshin, so that's probably what the mysterious power is. We already have "light"/phlogiston, so what's missing is some type of dark power, which Skirk calls power from beyond this world.

i feel it more like, Alrecchino is the one going to get the Gnosis but not by force but with agreement just like how she did to get the Hydro Gnosis from Neuvilette. I assume that will happen during Mavuika's second story quest. Where Mavuika recommend to Alrecchino that she will give the pyro gnosis to the Traveler and ask her instead to guide Traveler to the Tsaritsa.

I would go one step further and suggest that the “genesis crystal” power of Stardust and Creation may be the “power from beyond this world” that Dainsleif speaks of. It takes the form of blue fire, burning like phlogiston with a cosmic starlight aesthetic.
We need more exploration & lore about dragonspine, there is so much plot hole in mondstadt especially on dragonspine.
There are many cities under the iceberg that we need to know more about their civilization, such as the Chasm or Enkanomiya areas.

I kind of cannot help but think like this: Teyvat was originally ruled by the dragons, after which the Heavenly Principles came and established world order by fighting the Dragons. This occured a long time before the cataclysm. However, as a result of this battle between the dragons and the Heavenly Principles, the abyss was created which posed a great threat to the order that the Heavenly Principles established. For this reason, he created the Irminsul and everything to protect 'His' world. The shades were created to maintain the rules of the world and the angels to sustain humanity. This all The Heavenly Principles did all this with genesis crystals which might be 'His' exclusive power. Now, as civilizations were established, some of these civilizations daunted to overcome The Heavenly Principles by seeking help from the Abyss, like Khaenriah. And this was why The Heavenly Principles cursed them to protect 'His' world from the Abyss. He did the same to other civilizations like Dragonspine. However, in the fight against abyss during the cataclysm, the Heavenly Principles was severely injured which is why he is still asleep.
During this time, the siblings arrived in Teyvat. We must remember that the siblings world was destroyed and thus they moved from one world to another in search for the genesis pearl (which essentially could be used to rebuild their world). Whoever is seen on the throne in the battle pass cutscene is the one who tasked them with this duty. Now, the first descender, lumine was manipulated by the Khaenriahn's which is why she 'lost the vision of their noble deed' of bringing the genesis pearl for recreation of their destroyed world. Lumine essentially could have just retrieved the genesis pearl from the Heavenly Principles since I think that the one on the throne in the battlepass scene and the Heavenly Principles were close friends. However, she chose to help the Khaenriahn's which led her to fall into disgrace of the Heavenly Principles and therefore she could not retrieve the genesis pearl. This was why we were sent as a backup to retrieve the pearl from the Heavenly Principles and that is our tale to be told.
My guess is that when Lumine woke up, she was just manipulated by the Khaenriahn's and she gave in to their sorrow thus forgetting her task. I wouldn't blame her though because of the immense suffering of the people who did nothing. But all the suffering was caused by The Heavenly Principles only to protect his world.
