The problem is that they put her specifically in the 2nd phase which is just reruns. They knew that if they separated the archon (a big money maker) and a highly anticipated 4 star they can get more money of they separated them.
Honestly I'm kind of getting tired of this bs hoyoverse keeps doing. First they make new 4 stars either bad or very niche, then they said they aren't even adding endgame, and now they are separating good 4 stars from new featured 5 stars to make people spend more.
Her c4 makes her good with ayato in freeze teams and itto as a zhongli replacement

Layla: 4x Tenacity (hp%/hp%/hp%) with EM substat and Key of Khaj-Nisut is doable in Eula team that includes Raiden and Kuki (full EM gilded dreams).
Its all seeming a bit too good to be true…

i was gonna put jade cutter on her with 2 pc tenacity and 2 piece blizzard focusing on more hp/em/crit dmg substats and try to get a hp circlet since the jade cutter has so much crit rate already. Is that good enough tho?

Layla's c4 wont be the best for ganyu because her blooms delay exceeds 0.05sec. the only CA that could use that is 3 hit CA of ayaka and other sword chars with 2 hit CA.
Love that the title says "DON'T SLEEP ON HER" because Layla always appears tired xDD
She will be good in reverse melt yoimiya. She benifits well at c4 layla too
the fact that she is the half of cryo resonance is a win for me. she could provide comfort for fighting against unfreeze-able enemies with her shield
She is perfect for physical dmg Fischl and Razor.

I never had the primo to pull Ganyu / Ayaka. So my main cryo dps always chongyun n he never leave my abyss team.
Gotta pair Layla with him+Kokomi cuz I never had any permafreeze team 😂
