  1. Obviously Itto is ruined by wearing those tremendous fake biceps in teaser.

I don't know about "ruined by element", Mihoyo already did a great job by creating that wacky kit which have no sinergy with itself… But being physical damage oriented shielder with pyro instead of superconduct part or geo for sure doesn't help Xinyan.

  2. In my opinion it's not that being Geo ruins Itto, it's the reliance on Gorou (and probably Zhongli for Geo resistance shred)
Being a Geo dps requires so much assistance from other very specific characters that he'll have zero team versatility if you actually want to play him at his best. I hope he's actually good for the people excited about him, but he's the first character in the game that I'll skip with zero hesitation.

  3. Of course he's gonna be good but I still have no interest in him because he's geo I have no place for him in any of my teams and I don't have the resources to build him plus my c6 Noelle would be pretty pissed if I continued to not build her just to build another geo claymore user

  4. Itto is like xiao. Xiao has no reactions on his own, but his scaling is absolutely insane. Yes geo is a support element, but big scaling = big numbers no matter the element

  5. I don't think we can say anything definitive about a character until we've had them for a year and mihoyo refuses to buff them. I'm more annoyed that I can't seem to find any chance to actually save up Primos.

  6. The Geo element doesn’t ruin anything to me. From the stance on Meta most players use double resonance with Geo and another element so there’s no real loss for reactions.

Even outside of Double Resonance their are rarely any Geo units that interrupt elemental reactions so having them in multi-element teams isn’t a loss either.

  7. I dont have zhongli or albedo so its kinda obvious i dont care about geo lmaooo

No matter how much ppl say its just a game i did farm for itto and i plan to struggle with him for the next month lol

  8. I love Geo and just dealing raw damage overall, elemental reactions are really fun but sometimes I don’t like to think about needing to apply a certain element first to get max damage. This is why I like using Eula and using mono element comps 😆

  9. Remember guys, lots of people skipped certain characters just because the community deemed them "not worth getting" then they regret it afterwards.

Follow your heart, not the meta. 🙂

  10. the thing about elemental reactions with geo is that it could definitely be more improved so that we don't necessarily need to run two geo characters to fully optimize using them. it restricts team comps and well.. doesn't really compete with the top tier meta comps like Raiden National, OG National, Sukokomon and these comps mainly play with electro related reactions..

that said, geo comps are relatively easier to get big numbers out of. you don't need tedious set up and that's also one of their strongest points, making IT itto's strongest point.

  11. I'm sick of elitists being ignorant to Geo. Truth is Geo and Anemo are the best elements as of their damage nature. They're versatile and hit everything pretty equally. Theyre physical damage in elemental form. This means rarely will they have busted numbers like the others but theyre solid and reliable. Geo is just the less power and more defense and anemo is the more powerful and utility focused. Geo is fighting shield and spear and anemo is the swift as wind swordsman. To put it in rpg terms.
Other elements rely on reactions to get those high numbers and only tend to do that well in certain matchups. Geo rocks. Suck my knob!

  12. You gotta remember people also shit on superconduct saying it does little damage. Probably because they expect it to be to their electro what melt is to pyro. Well honstly my Razor with a bit of Em chunks hard on a superconduct reaction with E… which then lowers def 15% and phys res which uh-oh… is pretty fucking good for a phys carry who now bursts and buffs his attack. And they failed to see that the damage done by superconduct is considered Cryo damage so maybe if you tried a superconduct chongyun burst or ahem.. Shenhe coming up who they think is support has 2 big aoe cryo hit abilities and gets a set 4pc buffing superconduct damage by i believe 200%. Oops huh. Hows that support character statement taste now.

  13. Imagine dendro imrpoving geo giving off a nice viable offensive reaction heheheh even if it doesn't, I am almost 100 percent sure on pulling for my boy itto. People said my girl Baal was meh and electro ruined her, but look at where she is now. I believe in the way of the Arataki Gang!

  14. I agree with you. I like how you think seeing things from different perspectives outside of the common trend. I will have to see how well Itto does. Also your thoughts on Weapon banner? it's the most interesting weapon banner since Homa/WGS for me.

  15. Is this the raiden situation again? No one complains about zhongli and he is geo. (They had to buff geo but still, hidro consonance has been shit from the beggining and no one complains about it)

  16. and geo for me at least in terms of zhongli he does great damage and support and i think geo has many doors it can offer with dmg and support and i dont think any element ruins any character myself haha

  17. Ning is objectively unreliable, and she’s decent, not strong. Specifically not strong enough to be meta. Take if from someone with one of the strongest Ning’s you’ve ever seen.

  18. Geo doesn't really bother me for the most part. Mostly because I run a full-on physical team (your average razor main) and having a shield is pretty nice. Although yes I do think that Crystalize does hinder a lot of reactions (because of I'm experimenting with an elemental team, soon-to-be yanfei main) and it's a bit annoying. What I could suggest like a little buff would be having like a 10 – 15% more elemental damage depending on what kind of shield that you have (for example you get a buff for electro damage cause you have an electro shield). It's a little bit OP, but it's pretty much just my little suggestion.

  19. I love my Noelle she's saved my ass so many times it's ridiculous.

So no i don't think geo itself makes Itto bad and it'll take doing his
trial run where they put 4pc noblesse on him to do him dirtier than
they already have to find out if he's any "good" or not.

Unless i cave in my current dillema = Wanting Noelle's C6 and Eula's C1 but also wanting Ganyu after not getting her on her first run but guaranteed pity hangs in the balance. Just don't give me c7 bennett, Mihoyo ffs…

I'll be skipping Itto for either Shenhe/Ganyu/Yae

and yes i did c6 my Bennett lol it was out of pure spite. I was like "HAH! NOW YOU'RE TRASH!!…."

(I never really used him anyway tbh)

  20. Actually an element ruined a character for me …. I can't accept a pyro healer …pyro isn't for healing … Which ironically that character does both healing and DMG …. That's kinda stupid design I hope they remove the healing from Bennett so I can actually play him without needing to (f2p btw) 😛

  21. It all depends oh how well they scale his def to damage ratio. We already have a free 4* Noelle. We don't need a 5* version of her. I'm sure that if he doesn't deal Hu Tao/Ganyu levels of damage people will treat him just like Kokomi.
