Genshin Impact is just making headway to version 4.5, but leaks about version 4.6 have already started to pop up. So, here’s everything leaked about the version and the potential release date. We’re nearing the March 13 release date of Genshin Impact version 4.5. While we have confirmation that it’ll feature Chiyori, 4.5 isn’t shaping up to be a big patch like 4.4, which had two new character releases, Lantern Rite, and a brand-new expansion in Chenyu Vale. Nothing about Genshin Impact 4.6 is confirmed either, but much has been leaked, and it is said to be one of the bigger patches with new character releases and a new expansion. Of course, all of this is a leak, and nothing has been confirmed so plenty of it can change. Currently, the only character leaked to be part of Genshin Impact version 4.6 is Arlecchino. There have been multiple leaks detailing her kit, so Arlecchino is likely to be part of 4.6. there were rumors about a Sumeru festival in 4.6. They also mentioned that during this event, we might see rerun banner for Alhaitham. Now, I always advise not to fully trust early banner data, so I won’t say this information has been confirmed. But it seems like a reasonable take considering the Sumeru event, and the leak also hints at Alhaitham having a significant plot related to this event. Lyney will also make a return in this update. We initially thought nilou would rerun, but no. The recent leak suggests lyney will make a come back in this update. the leak also suggests Furina will rerun in this patch. I mean, Archons usually rerun four patches after their initial release, so since Furina had a banner in version 4.2, we can expect her rerun in version 4.6 as the leak suggests.
elsewhere, the leaks for 4.5 have hinted at a potential third banner, so 4.6 could also have three limited banners with characters. It’s called regional banners. and this time, it will be liyue’s regional banner. You know who to expect. I don’t know when i will post this video, but if it’s after the livestream, you have probably seen what they meant by the regional banner.
Version 4.6 is rumored to add a new weekly boss fight, although we do not know much about it, the boss is likely to be tied to the new region.
It could be a weekly boss for the Fontaine region, as each region has two weekly bosses with Fontaine having only one so far. However, we can’t yet be sure since it is unconfirmed whether the expansion is for Fontaine. my guess is, it’s Probably Arlecchino. We might have to fight her before natlan. But that’s just my take.
version 4.6 will also feature two new artifact sets, one is best in slot tailor-made for Arlecchino and the other is EM-related. WHILE WE DO NOT HAVE ANY DETAILS ON THE ARLECCHINO SET, THE OTHER ONE IS LEAKED TO BE CENTERED AROUND THE BURNING REACTION. HERE’S WHAT THE LEAK DESCRIPTION FOR THE SET BONUS READS:
2piece: EM (could be an increase in Elemental Mastery by 80, similar to other current sets).
4piece: Triggering the Burning reaction increases EM for the entire team; hitting an enemy in the Burning state increases your own EM further. It can be activated off-field.
Lastly, According to a leak, 4.6 will see the return of the Vibro-Crystal Research event. But that’s the only event-related leak we have had so far.
Vibro-Crystal Research is a combat event and has appeared in versions 2.6 and 3.5. It played largely similar to other such events, where you pick your characters, with each stage having different buffs on offer.

  7. The only banner worth mentioning is the new weapon banners (Hunter's path is back after 2 years of going dark). Instead of losing 2 times, now you only have to lose once to get the weapon you actually want. An objective upgrade over what we currently have, but still far from ideal.

  29. Personally, I won't be pulling for Arlecchino purely because I am probably going to try for Neuvillette, but more likely I'd rather save up for Alhaitham more since he is my current main.
