IMO Raiden's amazing but if you're (a) only pulling to 36-star Abyss and (b) don't have a built CC unit, you're better off saving for a Kazuha or Venti considering the 2.6 line-up. Feel free to disagree however. Cheers!

I had Raiden since her first run and to this very day, I can never bench her. She’s literally one of my best characters on my account

For me she is kinda meh at C0, sometimes easier to use another sub-DPS instead, but if you want to hit with her you need at least C2 and it's expensive. (Yes, I know that you can baff her with C6 Sara, Bennett and on top of it use Anemo shredd but it will be completely different story, with sich team you can use even Amber)
I pulled her on the first day. I'm still not ready go for constellations on anyone. I'm a low spender and the most enjoyment I get is from new team comps. I agree she is a must pull for anyone without her

Ei is great unit she changed my account and allowed to improve so much. People Often say she's only good at C2 but that's not true she can be great dps character at C0 it's just C2 allows Ei to be more independent. Why CO Ei replies alot on her team.
I have Ei I don't plan trying for a constellation for her but I do highly recommend her because when you heavy invest into her she is will worth the time.
I want to thank you for trying to get the truth about Ei out there because sooo Many people shit on Her C0 and hits for players who worked Thier butt off just to get Ei at C0.
I was lucky enough to have 250 ER and 2k atk with just the catch at C0. I really want her weapon, but that donut scares me.
wait…why does sands have to be energy recharge when she's already on the catch? isn't that too much valk? i currently have her with atk sands and electro goblet. i'm using sara and bennett with her btw

I don't really mean to downplay C0 Raiden but I just don't think she's a "must-pull" unit without constellations! Her C2 is an absolute game changer for sure though.
Kazuha's rerun is around the corner and he is so much better than C0 Raiden or any other 5 Star unit released so far.
Then there is also Ayato who might turn out to be one of the most broken units in the game if he won't get nerfed again.

At first I wanted to get her C2 but now I just want to get more characters than constellations. I kinda regret getting C2 zhongli bcs I love his character a lot but this time I’m okay with C0 characters with new playstyles

Imo, must have is Zhongli>Kazuha>Baal. And, she's a not pull imo. Nice to have, solve er issue, but er can be solve also with artifact er%.. so yeah..

I have her at c0 with R1 engulfing lightning running electro goblet but trying to get a good atk goblet
(she has 290% ER and 49%/104% crit rate/dmg.. S- So kinda good?)

I'll skip the banner only because i already have raiden. And even at c0, she adds a lot of energy and damage to my teams.
How much she gain from c2->c3?
I have Raiden on two accounts and she is somewhat disappointing for an Archon.
Her bust and energy gimmick is useless in the open world. Her damage in abyss is good but nothing special without buffs and locks you into a specific team (1 burst based healer and 2 burst based subDPS) which makes it much harder to adjust your team against enemy immunities and demands you have more than 2-3 such units built. She is also way too high investment. (not only do you need to fish, but you also need a good ER/CRIT emblem set specifically, plus a full EM set if you want to see any use for her in the open world.)
Save for Venti and Ayaka, they provide better value and are more versatile. (or Kazuha if you prefer meta)
I'll be going for my third Raiden on atleast 1 condition:
1. Kazuha is not in 2.6 and or maybe 2.7
If this requirement is met then sure, but Kazuha is a priority.
gotta stay strong for venti 💪😔 her second story quest was fantastic however + she’s fun to play so i might consider it depending who’s rerunning in 2.6
Raiden is not a must pull on any account except for peaple who are willing to roll to C2. At C2 I agree with what Valk says
But at C0 not really.
She isn't even an upgrade over fischl in taser and childe-sucrose in international.
If Raiden is a must pull, then Zhongli is best character in the game by that logic. If comfort matter to you in a game this easy then don't know what to say.
At C0 I would much rather pull ganyu, and even better pulls would be Ayaka and kazuha.
I am sure a whale like yourself would disagree since you have her at C6 and your Raiden does more twice the damage as as f2p.
No unit in this game is must pull. It all depends on what teams you want to run.
And Raiden isnt required in any team in the current meta and is not a upgrade over any 4 star or 5 star supports she tries to replace. Raiden is a balanced character at C0. Not too op not too awful. Definitely could make it to top 5 best 5 stars but there are other characters who are much better primo value. She is certainly not kazuha or Ayaka level. Not even close.
She is easily the most overrated character in the game by a huge margin.
I don't have Raiden and I probably never will. Honestly I don't need the energy she gives for the team at the moment (I run fav weapons and I find those sufficient already) and the Inazuma archon quest just left me with a bad impression of her character (I'll admit, the second story quest was good and it did improve my impression of her but it wasn't enough to redeem her for me). Plus, I don't want to pull all of the archons (I skipped Venti for the same reason, which was I didn't like him either, and I'm already planning to get Kusanali anyways) because where's the variation of characters in that? Good luck to everyone pulling her tho.
Plus, I want Ayato a lot more than her right now and I have just enough to guarantee him.
I got her to C2 when she first released. Was a bit disappointed early on but once I learned how she works/how to use her I almost never have her out of my party. She works so well and even with bad runes mine still hits pretty hard.
She'd prolly be a increase over my sucrose by a small but still by an amount (in national), but I'm holding off, because it would mess up my artifacts too much so it's not really worth it that much for me+ I have sac sword Xingqiu and don't want to switch that thing off him xD. I'm too lazy to change already busted working things
I've been f2p for 6 months now, want both Ayato and Kazuha but I'll still give all my pulls to my C0 triple crowned Raiden because she's THE queen👑

I’ve skipped Kazuha to get both Ayaka and Raiden and I think it’s about time I finally get him, I’ll be considering Raiden’s C2 but it’s not likely.
Sorry Valk, I'm skipping Raiden, for Kokomi, being the healer main that I am, no suprise. I don't really care about Abyss or Meta honestly and I just don't like Raiden/Ei as a character, her lore update didn't save her at all to me. I'd really only be getting her for damage/she's a archon, not because I like her as a character. To me liking a character's design/lore/personality is a pull or skip factor for me and Raiden just ain't it. Besides, she'll get another rerun, she's an archon, which is more than I can say for Koko..
I think a lot of people are confused on which characters can work with Raiden, thinking she’s restrictive; so I would like to show which characters can be on a team comp with her. Most of these are my opinion and I’ve tested these units both in the over world and abyss.
