Might I just say that I think that kaeya's half khaenri'ahn (and mb half sumerian cuz daz the only nation where we've seen characters with that tone of skin color I mean like the shading and vibrantness of the skin color palette) cuz his star shaped pupils are smaller than the ones of dain and pierro (just a theory though 🙂 )

I liked the story with Eide but Kaeya and Dainslief was barely a part of the quest. Like the whole quest was just us being in the memories of our sibling. WE NEED MORE KAEYA AND DAIN
What I don't quite get…is why Kaeya told us about his origins. I love him, but I admit, he doesn't strike me as the type to give away personal information just like that. Specially considering almost everyone thinks Khaenriah is more than extinct. I don't know, it's delicate info. I doubt even Jean knows about this. So why. Why now of all times. Why was he really in Sumeru. Why did he SEEK us. If there was no bomb dropped, I would've believe he really just wanted to catch up, but hell…I'm confusion. Also, FUDGE YOU, DAIN. Keep in mind this is the same person that Grand Master Varka tried to do a background check on and he manage to douge everything and BS his way there.
Like this mf is definitely talking BS to us and Dainslief honestly. Cuz some of the stuff he says contradicts stuff that are in his character voicelines and stuff in the hidden strief event.
Well, this confirms something most people mistook :
Kaeya is a descendant of someone from Khaenri'ah, not directly from Khaenri'ah. Because pure-blood Khaenri'ahns have the same eye color Dain has, while Kaeya has a more different color. Maybe his father got together with someone who hailed from Mondstadt?
did I miss something on a previous quest? why was Kaeya so casual when talking about khaenri'ah?
apart from his usual snarky(?) attitude, him just mentioning it out of nowhere caught me off guard
Kaeya never said no that he wasn't affiliated with the Abyss order. All he did was asked the traveler if they think he is. Kaeya was very particular about his wording. Also when asked if he knows anything about Khaenri'ah he said not really. But then identifies Dain as pure blooded.

Ok but am I the only one that thinks Keaya could be Caribet? Like it makes sense!
1. He’s khanrian
2. We never see what happened to Caribet after he spontaneously combusted into dark energy
3. Keaya mad sus
4. He was dropped off as a child the same age Caribet was when he was a Hilichurl
5. Keaya has to make a decision that will impact his and everyone else’s fate, one could say he’s intertwined with fate…perhaps the loom of fate?
6. We haven’t heard of his past before the Ragnvinders took him in
7. If your saying he can’t be because he can grow, I’ll ask you this, Teyvat has all kinda magic and bullshit like Faruzan who was trapped in time for 100 years so it’s likely Keaya could’ve been trapped in time until the time was right since he himself didn’t have the curse of immortality
8. Keaya isn’t pure blooded, I can’t imagine any Khanrian wanting to procreate after everything that happened, it’s not even confirmed whether they can procreate or not
9. Keaya deflects hard when Paimon asks if he’s with the abyss or not
10. Perhaps the largest bit of evidence, Keaya is a descendent of the Abyss founder,
He’s a mix blooded khanrian with the name Alberich who also just so happen to be dropped off in the same city Caribets mother was from, his birth father is M.I.A
Dainsleif suffers from erosion so even if Dain did know what he looked like he looked younger and Dain can’t remember
Just imagine Kaeya knowing the origins of his own surname Alberich, and only mentioned it “innocently” to lure Dain out from the dark 😂

But since that didn't work he then mentioned his last name
Kaeya knows very well which kind of clan he hails from, because what he tells us here doesn’t add up to his story ingame and to the hidden box in the hidden strife event
