Cyno is based on the Anubis, yhe egyptian mythology. He is kind of the judge for the people who are passed to which afterlife would be their destiny. By this, he uses the feather to messure the heart of every passing. If the heart is lighter than the feather, they would have a nice afterlife and vice verca. Thats what the feather represents. Also he has the quote “every soul will be weighed” which is indeed the accurate for representing Anubis.
