For vape and melt teams I would rather recoment 75% of your crit damage as EM (basicly a 1.5/2 ratio). Means If you have 200% crit damage, you want to have 150 EM. If you have 100% crit damage, you want 75 EM
Should I give Heizou more EM? He already has a lot, as well as a lot of ER, as well as pretty ok Crit DMG and Crit Rate. Or should I focus him with attack, Crit DMG, and Crit Rate?
I never got why we should get EM for venti. I mean, kazuha scales EM for his talents and support, but isn't building CR CD better for venti? Swirl damage do only about 1k, which are basically useless. Building crcd is easier, right?
What about Raiden Shogun? Does she count for the EM only accounting for the character equipped because her skill technically attacks only when you attack too so does it stack?
Although this may be obvious, keep in mind that you shouldn't focus TOO much on EM, especially for beginners.
Amplifying reactions are calculated at the end of the damage calculation formula, meaning that it is calculated separately from DMG% Goblets, food buffs, talent level, etc.
This would mean that you cannot fully rely on EM for high damage. Stats such as ATK, CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG should be focused FIRST, as they will benefit you more.
You will do completely fine with 0 EM; all amplifying reactions have a base value:
Reverse Vaporize (Pyro on Hydro) – 1.5x DMG Vaporize (Hydro on Pyro) – 2x DMG Reverse Melt (Cryo on Pyro) – 1.5x DMG Melt – (Pyro on Cryo) – 2x DMG
You can think of EM as a nice bonus to your damage, but not something that is needed or should be focused on.
Additional Notes:
– Crit builds on Kazuha and Venti are completely fine, and are arguably better for overworld exploration.
(Although you will miss out on Kazuha's elemental damage bonus from his ascension 4)
– Transformative reactions: Superconduct, Electro-Charged, Overload, Shattered and most importantly Swirl, also scales significantly from the character's level.
– In the current meta, triggering amplifying reactions tend to be better than transformative reactions in terms of damage and speed, with the exception of some teams in some situations.
– Do not be confused and build EM for TRANSFORMATIVE reactions excluding Swirl. Many people even build Electro and Geo characters with EM.
(EM on Electro will be better after the 3.0 update when paired with Dendro)
But in the end, this comment is looking at things on a meta perspective. You can build characters and teams however you would like to play – this is just for the people who want to have more damage/speed and for those who may be confused.

My Kazuha's em is around 350 and he does 10k-16k with his e and around 15k-22k with his ult, dunno what I did but it's good 👍
Omg tysm. I've never understood what that was and I've been playing for some months now💀💀💀
My Kazuha has over 300 EM and does pretty good damage with my Yanfei. Love the number of red and greens ❤
Thankyuuu this taught me alot Abt EM ❤️
I have an em bennett paired with baal
Good thing my yanfei has 0 EM 👍
Hu Tao also needs em if you run a reaction comp

Nice that I got this video, I'm planning to go all out on EM with Sayu to get the most out of her C6, just wanna see where that goes xD
lowkey thought em buffs your elemental skill/burst like how phys bonus buffs your normal and charged attack 💀
My klee who has 0 elemental mastery: 🗿🗿🗿
What about dps kazuha? I'm building dps so should I focus on em crt and atk?
Ne with my 1130 kazuha tho he's c3 so in his AoE burst is +200 so 1330 😁
Shattered
Kazuha mains: already a master of the em
If I build it on 2 characters who make a reaction will the bonus stack

I just started playing so thank you!
Ok so say I have high EM on Mona and after using her burst I switch to my dps, the reaction would still be crap?
I do overloaded with keqing and xiangling(c5)
My Thomas elemental mastery was 420
I main venti, I don’t really focus on the reactions but I am trying to get two better artifacts, should I make sure to get some em? He has like 16
Jokes on you, I built my Venti like a DPS and he hits like a truck
For venti, energy recharge is much more important than em
It also has the highest scaling in the game , if u have a 1000 em that'll do a shit tone of DMG and it doesn't need to crit to do that DMG.
My sayu has an elemental mastery of 452… And that's after I tried making her more dps. But it's a nice combo with kukis healing blade attack
I didn't know that childe needs EM
crystallize: am i a fn joke to you?
What about Raiden Shogun? Does she count for the EM only accounting for the character equipped because her skill technically attacks only when you attack too so does it stack?
My childe has 0 Elemental mastery uh
childe is just a driver so unless u wanna build a nuke version yeah u can go for em otherwise u don't need it at all
Thanks i needed this video

Wait so if I use Bennet's e to put fire on the ground and then use beidou's e to get supercharged who do I put elemental mastery on ?
Bro still in 1.0 also, ganyu melt? U gon waste ur time on that?
I dont have sucrose or xiao or venti or kazuha but i have jean sayu and heizou.
100 em should be enough
Doesn’t em work for shatter too?
