the reason there are only kids in the demo is cause in sumeru only kids can dream. everyone in sumeru stop dreaming when they become adults. . and the only way for nahida to interact with the world is through dreams cause she is locked up in the sanctuary.

I just had a random thought pop in my head. What if – hear me out – only kids can actually see her right now is because she's locked up and the only way for her to interact with the world is through dreams. That would explain her playing with Aranara and kids! Which means if and when we bust her out, everyone will be able to see her again!
