  2. 1:58:35 I was freaking out during the livestream because this tied in with a conversation I had with a friend last week. There's so many hints that Teyvat is a dreamworld it would kind of surprising if it isn't, even if we don't know the details. My friend and I both independently started wondering if the dreamer tying the whole thing together is a dragon.

    My friend came to this thought by having a different interpretation of the 2 murals from the WQ. That the first mural a dragon is trying to destroy Irminsul but it doesn't work against the people's minds. We assume Iriminsul was destroyed because that's what we've been told, but the mural doesn't actually show it on fire. What's in the dome is protected and what's outside is destroyed. So the attacking dragon wasn't entirely successful. The second mural shows that the dragon's head was resting in a dome as if it's sleeping.

    My thought came from little breadcrumbs, not really cohesive, but I know it means something. I watched a video that pointed out dragons are fascinated with music. (sorry I can't remember who 😔 )Dvalin, Neuvillette being Furina's big fan, etc.

    a) From Aru the ghost during the WQ: The Serpent's Heart is home to an altar that is considered the heart of the Cosmic Serpent. Before the coming of Watatsumi Omikami, we called this place The Heart of Ouroboros.
    b) The description of Juvenile Jade: Liyue folklore holds that they will gather power over many years, after which this crystal will, at last, replace their original heart, and the vishap will become a true dragon — one that can shake the mountains and split the earth.
    c) cor lapis translating to stone heart
    d) Elynas heart is currently stone. Durin's is 50% stone because he's coming back (ty simulanka)
    e) Ganyu's idle line: If you lie on the grass, you can feel the heartbeat of the world
    Both Apep and Elynas contained homes for other creatures, so are we just like Melusines, living inside a dragon? Is the world song a lullaby?
    IDK but it's weird all of us kind of had the same thought in different ways.

  5. This discussion was really fun for me! I'm really digging the structure of doing voiced quests first and then world quests/readables/niche lore after 👀

  8. 33:24 I dont think Capitano's final foe will be Vedrfornir. If anything he would be Dain's personal target.
    And from how capitano reacted to Dain's name being mentioned, i don't think it is Dain either(you know for failing to protect the nation yada yada like what Lumine said).

    So this leaves
    Gold – whose monsters were the one who ravaged the lands so it is fair if he wants revenge from her, but Gold is part of hexenzirkel now. So i don't think she is necessarily evil otherwise Alice wouldn't have accepted her at all. Plus I feel Gold will be tackled – if at all, by someone like Albedo or she ll just have a redemption.
    Surtalogi – the foul – something tells me that he and skirk would be part of Childe's final level up arc in snezhnaya..so i doubt he would be part of Capitano's plot as well..
    Hroptatyr – the wise – once again like gold, if he isn't a warrior and rather a wise sage, it would feel like someone like Pierro would be taking him on not Capitano.

    Rerir : Racher of Solnari – He is the only one out of five sinners that i feel would be capitano's final target based on the above elimination. Also if i m not wrong, Rerir in Norse mythos is associated with themes of revenge. So could be him.

  9. 37:36 – Pierro most likely cant be Hroptatyr. Because Dain said that the sinners did not show up to save khaenriah and instead dabbled in Abyss. While we know that Pierro was trying to convince the other sages and the king to not open the rift in veil of sins. He was a khaenriah sage in the royal court but not the highest standing sage..who would be Hroptatyr if we go by the fact that Sinners were the pinnacle in their respective fields of expertise.

  11. Captain oh captain…pls dont be another deathflag we cant afford another cathedral to be frozen….

    I think it's very refreshing to see that Genshin goes down the path of everyone is morally grey. Like you see in warhammer, the main faction is the humanity and they fight against other aliens such as Orkz, Tau, Necron, Chaos and Tyranids. But, it doesnt mean the Humanity is the sole hero, because there are many corruption, savagery and even the Imperium ruled with iron fist and sort of tyrany like that one case where the Imperium demanded the Space Marine to annihilate all humans in that planet that has seen Chaos, which sparked a civil war between the Space Marine legions itself. There's also Chaos too, which is headed by the 4 Demons. They sound like a true antagonist, but the more you delve into their lore and fuction in the story, they actually are just the embodiment of humanity's "bad" nature; like Nurgle the Plague and Death God, Khorne the War and Wrath God and so on. Even you cant say the tyranids are true evil, bc they just wanna eat and eat until nothing's left, they just fuction the way they are.

  13. spoilers for people who did not read Kinichs story/lore yet:

    49:32 I am so scared that you cooked so hard with a Mimik of Mavuika because I read Kinichs lore a few days ago and his Vision Story literally tells us that in his pilgrimage he and the others fighters encountered „people“ they knew and loved (for him his mom) who were created by the abyss – like how the new enemies mimic mobs/bosses and they had to fight them.

    I will scream Arnold! at my tv if this happens in 5.3 😂

    But great podcast I love all your guys love for the lore 🙏🏻

  16. I'm like 90% sure that the reason saurians are so different from vishaps and work so closely with the humans in Natlan is because they're all the same souls. I don't think the Night Kingdom distinguishes between a human soul and a dragon/saurian soul and reincarnates them into either. I mean, we've seen it happen with Neuvillette, so why not with the entirety of Natlan's dragon and human population?
