Best crossover
C6 baizhu would probably be the only one that would have that underwater combat
To be honest i liked the novelty (while being simple) of the underwater things, like finding out how to attack the bosses and stuff i find it to be more of an added bonus to the under water exploration than comparing it to the combat ground system. Not an explore fan / casual here, been AR 60 like for 2 years and been waiting for end game almost the same time lol.
Underwater combat is somewhat fun because of the 3d movement. Swimming feels better than running to me.
But yeah taking away the elemental reactions.. The elemental system is why I play genshin. Nobody else does it. At best we get "rock paper scissors" or "match the color" in other games.
Plus underwater it mostly doesn't matter what character you use (dehya somehow is meta here. Especially with Bell). We should have more character relevance, not less.
Crab is the better Preservation(HSR)
I actually have been enjoying a lot the underwater exploration and combat. Your talent levels don't matter, your character's level doesn't matter, your skill doesn't matter. Just collect primogems and vibe you know?
Genshin really is just ignoring one of the best game mechanics to ever be created, the genshin elements system is such an amazing system that i fell in love with it those 3 years ago. It was so fun mixing and matching characters of the different elements that i had and discover those reactions. They even somehow still made it so powerful feeling in a tcg mode too, but now theyre just… Genshin does not feel like the game i played hears ago anymore
It's not bad
🙄
If there's anything I don't want to change in genshin is the underwater combat. I like the way it is. No complicated and unnecessary mechanics, just relaxing vibes and little bit of combat that is make perfect sense to do underwater.
Add on combat system to the current one, sure. Why not. But leave all that complex timing, dodging, and reaction based on the land only.
Bruh didn’t you just make an ad. talking about how amazing the underwater of Genshin was 😂
The underwater combat is alright, plus mihoyo can just add new abilities that makes it much more fun like the neq jellyfish bomb thing (best abilities yet).
And also the newest underwater exploration with new puzzles and sewer exploration is really fun, they dont have to change the underwater combat system
The only thing I like about underwater combat is that the stingray slash makes me feel like Sukuna.
*cleave
*dismantle
*kill beloved character off-screen
The underwater exploration is just another feature of Genshin, like the teapot or fishing. You can like it, or not, it is up to you. I'm quite fond to it because it adds more variety to the gameplay, beautiful scenery, and also add new and satisfying 3D movement to it (up-down).
the underwater combat is actually good.. it's just that I played it wrong at first.. you are not supposed to aim .. aiming takes time and also it makes you vulnerable.. underwater skills can home on target even if you are not facing it, all you have to do is swim pass by while shooting; whilst evading enemy attacks. it is very fast paced compared to ground combat.
I think it can be better, like certain enemies can only take damage from a certain part. Like the crab one will have a shield, you need to hit the shield for it to break. I can also imagine a boss, after a phase will make the battlefield underwater, and certain parts should be hit with abilities. Like it can change from ground to underwater.
i was actually expecting like a bigger underwater only exploration that we can have different combat style no dry land and basically npc are like mermaid.
I do not mind the underwater combat. Dodging plays more important role :3 Just fainting animation feels sadder.
Personally I just treat underwater combat like a puzzle, and as a puzzle it's quite enjoyable actually
I have seen a video where the player used Raiden E and Yelan Q before jumping into the water, it helped them kill enemies faster
i feel like adding infusions based on the characters element could be good, then again cryo would be op since its underwater
I respect their decision to remove the elemental system from underwater combat. I think it's quite fun, personally, and they explained why they didn't do it during the livestream. I appreciate that they thought it out, and didn't give us something wonky and unusable. Something that's so unbearable that absolutely no one wants to play underwater.
I see it as a necessary compromise. And honestly, enemies take enough damage anyway no matter your characters' talent level or ascension levels. There's no absolute need to change things
SEVY AND GORO WHAT. SUPERFUN ❤
underwater expiration is simply marvelous and it does a much better job of that than even horizon zero Dawn. It's super accessible They made sensible decisions like not running out of air and it moves very nicely.
That said…whoever design that whip needs to find a new job lol. The whole design of it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. You're whipping underwater. It literally makes more sense to start swinging or at least shooting water force or something. One of the weirdest design decisions ever.
