So I kept hitting it and I'm reading the comments and still nothing. So the pillars have 3 different angles of elevation, looking up, middle and down. I thought there was only 2. So pause, make sure it is not the incorrect angle you may have the position orientation facing the right way but your angle of pillar head may be incorrect. And I used beidou sword to just smack the very 1st pillar when I was done the full thing. I believe it was a normal swing but you can use her counter electro move sword swipe just for dramatics or if regular hit doesn't help. I hope this helps 😅

The electro goes to the last tower and into the water but nothing happens.
I have even tried hitting the statue with every weapon.
