Now that we know more about Ayato and the upcoming banners in 2.6 Genshin Impact – I think it’s worth going through all the upcoming characters and talk about their pros and cons from my own personal experience.
And with Ayato skills and Ayato gameplay reveals, we can now think about whether Ayato vs Venti is even a real question worth asking and perhaps we should look at this in a different way, such as the fact there’s probably a reason why there’s no Kazuha rerun and Venti instead 🙂

Venti boosts quadratic scaling characters so much maybe that's one of the reason he is on the same patch with Ayato. Ayato and Ayaka cannot be on the same banner because that is a too much win win for weapon banner considering plenty of players are hunting for Ayaka's weapon.
Very stacked banners. I kinda lack dps and cryo, so Ayaka would be an amazing choice for me. Then again I'm way too excited for Ayato cuz that's my boy.
I remember when Morgana team was kicking the Spiral Abyss so hard but the price to pay after was the boredom level was very high that you question if you should still play or grind the game. You question the end game because you can 36 stars Spiral Abyss so easy it's a joke. This was March 2021.

I'm guessing they will add multiple enemies again in Floor 12 that can be CC'ed but heavier like the Shadowy Husks in Enkanomiya. But u need freeze so they can't move when they attack. So best team comp will be Morgana again but with Ayato. So it's Ayato, Ganyu, Venti, flex.

I didn't get Kokomi and Mona still refuses to come home, I just need an aoe hydro applier.
I love playing Ayaka – she has tons of little things like iFrames when she emerges from a sprint, permanently freezing the hydro lekters and essentially rendering them completely and entirely useless. Also, I DID sign up for the beta. Cuz might as well.
I think Ayatos biggest selling point (besides the hype and his looks) is being a replacement for xingqiu, like in abyss if you run vapehutao and on the other side freeze ayatoyaka (ayato & ayaka) then your freeze team would actually function, sadly kokomi could easily fill that role too
Ok hear me out, I'm pulling Ayato as a DPS and a Support for Kokomi, why? Because her normal attack (in ult) deals 10k and what if I use Ayato's ult and then switch to Kokomi it's not gonna add that much but still useful for a healer that does DPS XD

A warning for Ayato wanters that pull for him because of his hydro dps potential. In a few days drip marketing will drop and Yelan might be revealed, since her model has been leaked. And if the leaks are proven true she will be a hydro bow user, so you might want to look out for her.
Of course if you want to pull for Ayato because you like his animations and design and don't care about his damage, ignore what I said and go for it. Happy Ayato pulls!
i have like 13k primogems and 23 wishes, also in pity 51, i will go for ayato, and if i get him in the 50/50 i then will go for venti, i wish luck for everyone who want to pull for any of this chars 😀

Personally you rly helped my Account. I am using national Team comp with physical rosaria as "lead" once i popped every ult. without you i wouldnt know how to build my Charakters. My Main regret is the Not knowing of dragonspine spear wich could already be R5 but know i have R2 crescent pike and r 3 Dragon spine spear. Also i am going for venti. You are great.
I have zhongli and raiden and I need vent to complete the archons but I also want ayato I have no primos and pity 0 and 50/50 so let’s hope hoyverse add some, extra luck
secret banner rerun beside ayaka?
The thing with Venti is: If there will be a Abyss again with a lot of CCble enemies Venti will carry this floor almost by himself. That's how strong he is. And that's why Hoyoverse started creating enemies that can't be CCed anymore because Venti will destroy them if they are CCble. And that's why Venti will always be one of the maybe the strongest char in the game because Hoyoverse must always think what Venti would do with the enemies. But that is also the reason why he isn't good. He is broken because the developer nerf him to hell because otherwise he would destroy the game.
And he refunnels energy too. Because why not. And Anemo is really strong thanks to VV.
The only dilemma I face is between Ayato and Ayaka, thanks to my bad luck, I would've gotten both easily if my luck is better ..
Good thing is I don't need either of them in my teams, I can do spiral abyss with my current built teams
me watching this knowing so well that Ayato drinking boba and looking good next to Kokomi is my reason for spending the gems
My prediction for 4star in the banner will be Sucrose, Razor or Rosaria and Gorou.

yes i do agree about venti.i remember when first time playing GI, i have venti and diluc, they're really make my life easier. until now i still use venti on abyss
Theory: They didn’t put Ayato and Ayaka in the same phase because the weapon banner would be way too good to get either of their featured weapon.
I mean think about it. Most people would have wished on the 2nd banner rerun for Hu Tao weapon banner. Whose weapon was also featured with Staff of Homa? Venti’s bow. I’m sure most people that wished on that banner got at least 1 copy of Venti’s bow.
So now Ayato seems to have the potential to be a pretty broken character so his weapon might be very desirable to pull for. Now you’re at risk of getting another Venti bow. In my opinion as a low spender, I find refinements for 5 star limited weapons to be useless. I’d rather a new 5 star weapon I could use for another character.
So now Ayaka’s banner is by herself and her weapon is wanted by a lot of people as it’s really good. So I wonder what is the other featured 5 star weapon with Mistsplitter. Most likely I feel it’s going to be a very lackluster weapon like a Skyward sword or something. If it ends up being another good limited weapon on the banner that would be nice but I doubt it.
Anyways this is the end of my theory.
