  2. Nice podcast. I agree with most of the things said by everyone except maybe the nilou part where yaoyao with xingqiu is better. Not sure if zajeff means the feel to play but it doesn't beat the kokomi+collei variant in clear times even in single target while being much worse in aoe(which is what nilou excels in anyway) from a lot of comparisons I've seen online and from personal testing.

  6. Lukewarm take: the last complete c0 4 star before Yaoyao wasn't Rosaria. Kuki, Gorou, and Heizou (even if he is inferior to Sucrose in most comps) qualifies as complete at c0.

  10. one nitpick, if I have to say anything: Yaoyao is not a Sumeru unit. "Unit released since 3.0", yes, but not a Sumeru unit. Idgaf if people say she feels like one. Her being a Liyue unit and not a Sumeru unit is the only reason Hoyo let her be good ๐Ÿ™‚

    Jeesus, that's the most incorrect thing I heard all podcast . Have you ever played Nilou?
    Her Triple Hydro team, with Kokomi, was the best team before Yao Yao and was fully functional , just that it was a bit vulnerable.
    After Yao Yao, in terms of firepower, that's arguably still her best team. Yao Yao just gave her another team with much better survivability.

  16. I like to use layla shield to protect wanderer, it shoot from the air and last for a long time (more than diona's), been up in the air the shield almost never break.
    What am I doing wrong?

  20. Pretty good podcast, happy to see that 3 characters I absolutely loved from Sumeru are consistently in top 4 (Nahida, Nilou and yaoyao).

    I kinda disagree with saying that you need to build full EM on every member in Nilou team to make it really good. Some "calcs" show that Kokomi with standard clam build sometimes can even outdamage the EM build (while also feeling way more comfy to play). I personally never switch her build apart from weapon cuz I'm too lazy.
    With my Collei on random instructor pieces just for the ER reqs it's really only 2 out of 2 members in a kokomi collei 2d2h comp.

    I will agree that pursuing EM subs usually suck tho, but I think her teams are pretty forgiving in clear time even with low subs.

  25. i agree with tenten nahida is just unfair
    she should not be considered a baseline for comparison on any upcomming dendro units
    because of how dominant she is in her role and how she can spill that dominance to another role with 0 or close to 0 effort
    she would just suffocate the good points of the said dendro unit

  31. Layla IMHO should be higher in the ranking. If we don't count Yaoyao, it's the best 4 star Sumeru character. Her kit is solid and well built, she is usable at low constelations, her role is clear (being a middle point between the Full Shield/Healing of Diona and the full offense of Rosaria in Freeze Teams or simply as a shielder). Honestly, I don't see how she is worse than Collei, Candance, Faruzan or Dori.

  32. I think it is safe to say if you have don't have experience with a character don't just say "dendro keqing". Don't judge a book by the cover. Who am I kidding everyone judge a book by their cover, Alhaitham hot and all

  33. 1:26:40 haha you can really hear zajef choosing his words carefully here. TBH I agree she isn't as good compared to some of the recent releases, but like Tenten was saying, I don't think it was a mistake to pull Ganyu when she came out because she was good compared to the competition. She was really good at the time, and she's flexible even to this day. I have never had an Abyss yet where I couldn't beat it using a Ganyu team on one half and a Hu Tao team on the other.
