I find it stupid that they do this for consoles. I have a friend that had this happen to them. They ended up creating a whole new PlayStation account just for Genshin.
My genshin account is on america server, while my xbox account is on another region, will this affect me linking them?? if yes, what should i do, Make a new xbox account with my desired region for genshin?

Wrong my guy u can just unlink it on their website then link the one u want to use good videos tho 👍🏾
Settings———>acount———>user center———>link hoyo account or something like that maybe email, anyway do that to link to hoyo on any platform
