  1. You asked what's happening in the game for such an OST to be playing. Literally could be something as simple as fighting 1 normal enemy. Been waiting for you to react to Genshin as I knew you'd appreciate it. Looking forward to more, keep at it m8.

  2. Oh man, Genshin has so many great OST. I hope you react to Bustle of Port Ormos and any OST from the region of Sumeru. They are my favorite!

On a completely different topic, I hope you react to IDOL by YOASOBI, which is the song for the new anime called Oshi no Ko. I think you will love it!

  3. This song is a limited time song that was a battle theme in a single area in the game. Yes. This banger was made for one specific place in the game, that is no longer even available anymore.
    Best part?
It’s for normal battles in the game.

  4. WOOOHOOOOO I loved your reaction! 100% subbing now, can't wait to see you listen to more Genshin!!
Pro tip: Do not even TOUCH the fandom anywhere outside the music, if that's all you'll be experiencing! People are very toxic!

  5. The Genshin Impact developers have quite a few recorded performances and concerts on their Youtube channel, here some bits I can recommend – one or two for every region in the game.

Monstadt (inspired by western Europe): look for the video GENSHIN CONCERT 2021 "Melodies of an Endless Journey"|Genshin Impact, timestamp 1:12:37 : A Storm, A Spire, and A Sanctum (Dvalin's Nest), and timestamp 1:16:26 : Caelestinum Finale Termini. Both are interpreted by the Flanders Symphony Orchestra, the 1st one is a really calm piece and the 2nd one is a boss battle theme.
Liyue (inspired by China): look for the video GENSHIN CONCERT Special Edition – Reflections of Spring|Genshin Impact, timestamp 15:37 : Rage Beneath the Mountains. Another boss battle theme, mixing traditional Chinese instruments with other things. You can also check timestamp 9:28 for some Chinese opera if you want to.
Inazuma (inspired by Japan): look for the video Duel in the Mist – Inazuma OST Battle Theme MV|Genshin Impact. A battle theme using traditional Japanese instruments for something that definitely isn't traditional Japanese music.
Sumeru (inspired by Middle East): look for the video Sumeru Live Symphony Performance | Genshin Impact. This video has 2 pieces. The first one, called Sumeru, is more of an introduction to the various themes and the musical landscape of the new region. The 2nd one, Swirls of Shamshir, is a battle theme. Both feature many traditional instruments from Middle East.

  6. When I started playing Genshin I did not expect it to have one of the best video game soundtracks I have heard. And there are hundreds of other amazing tracks in game. The battle themes (especially for bosses) go really hard, but the ambience themes are just as good in their own way. There are currently 4 of 7 regions in the game, each based on a real life region, and each have their own unique soundscapes. I really hope you can check out more Genshin OST in the future!

  7. You need to keep in mind that this is a battle music of a limited time event. I used to put a shield on my character and let enemies attack just to listen to the music !
The game is divided into 7 nations inspired from real countries, for now we have Mondstad (Germany), Liyue (China), Inazuma (Japan) and Sumeru ( Middle East).

If you like Genshin music, here is what you can listen to :

    3 concerts :

    – Reflexion of Spring (Liyue – China) 24 min

    – Melodies of an endless Journey 2021 1h43

    – Melodies of an endless Journey 2022 1h14

8 boss music : Tartaglia, Azhdaha, Signora, Raiden Shogun, Scaramouche, Warden of the Oasis, Dvalin and Andrius

"Realm of tranquil eternity" 10 min – music from Inazuma
"Sumeru Live Symphony Performance" 9 min
"Sumeru OST"Forest of Jnana and Vidya" 4 min

In my opinion, Azhdaha and Signora battle theme are the best !

And keep in mind that according to Genshin Impact Wiki, there are 644 soundtracks right now for the game…. 🙂

  8. Welcome to the world of Yu-Peng Chen, genius composer and music director for the game Genshin Impact, and you are right it was a masterclass. As a musician myself I can vouch that all of these genshin OSTs are simply perfection! 😊

  9. OMG YES!!!! PLEASE react to more music from Genshin!!!! It is an AMAZING game XD I would LOVE to see more reactions for this game! The music in it is just chef's kiss' amazing! The music fits each character so well! Zhongli's Rex Incognito is one of my favorites! Also, the opening music that everyone sees in the loading screen has three versions, depending on what time of day you play it; Morning, midday, and Night and they all sound similar, yet so different XD

  10. For me, the loading screen's music is so so relaxing…
The lore of the game in general is good, there's a 3hrd long w
Video that only shows the story itself. Every character has a distinctive melody, even the different cities give you different vibes…

  11. Should definitely listen to Honkai music, they are the bomb and the best from Mihoyo atm. I wonder when they’ll start making lyrical music videos for Genshin because most of Genshin music is just instrumentals while Honkai impact 3 had great animated music videos (also related to the game and story).
