Wuthering waves wins in graphics since it uses Unreal Engine 4 while Genshin uses Unity Engine. Which also explains why WW is a bit laggier for lower end PC
What wuthering waves lacking is good music where you can literally tell that you're in a foreign land by hearing traditional music of the said region. Like what genshin impact did.
I like the sound of nature in wuthering waves
I like genshin's artstyle (Vibrant colors and sharper graphics) more than the dark and blurry one from wuthering although they're made on different engines which unreal is not the best for artstyles that aren't meant to be realistic. The music on wuthering is just meh. It sounds like one of those relaxing music videos here on Youtube. Genshin outright beats it in that department. For the performance related stuff. I haven't had any major issues other than that the game likes to micro-stutter sometimes (I'm using a RX 6650 XT and a 7 5800X3D btw).

man i can't even play the game! 🙁 i have 1 fps for 7 seconds then i get like 20 fps for a brief moment and then it goes back to 1 fps and freezing. i got all settings on the lowest… i can play any other game completely fine but this game is just so unoptimized

Man I love WW so far but the game is nigh unplayable in its current state. I can run medium high setting in Star Rail on my laptop, it run smoothly, I turn on WW on its lowest setting possible, the game change itself into Stuttering Waves and I can barely move. The mobile is a tiny, very TINY bit better, but the camera is so bad man, the game is still extremely laggy on mobile.

genshin world art is made simpler so that even potato phone like my redmi 10c can play genshin comfortably, Wuwa has more complex effects on the world art that it needs higher pc and phone specs than genshin. but wuwa higher spec requirement really worth for what it offered than genshin's HUGE game total file size.

if wuwa step up its game in story telling and the BGM music, they definitely can make huge amount players migrate from genshin because being bored too much as old higher rank without end game content in genshin
Wuthering Waves has the best graphics compared to other gacha games. (Until now)
Wuwa has been pretty good so far albeit the hiccups. I like the gameplay and character. The story is okay. The gacha is less painful than Genshin, you can even exchange the 5* character's 'constellations'!

You needed to lower the brightness on WuWa to really make a good comparison cause that's how it looks best.
Basically UE4 vs Unity, I will say that unreal does MUCH better water but the rest just comes down to preference. WuWa is more realistic while Genshin is more stylistic
Wuthering graphics slaps cause the water and the built in ray tracing is just insane that's why it's kinda laggy and keeps stuttering in Mobile and PC. Tho i would say that Wuthering Waves is just better in my taste but genshin have better animations but it so unoptimized that it takes 90+Gb storage in PC but Wuthering Waves it takes +19 and it's already kinda a solid game except it's lore not solid yet. World building both games suits it's Stories so i wouldn't even compare that. But overall good games. I would have played genshin if the devs was generous and listens. sigh…
