Hey, here's the pinned comment I promised. Basically, there are good and bad sides
to the game, and also good and bad sides to the good and bad sides (Free to play = good,
but since it's free to play, that means microtransactions = bad). I understand that,
and I had to fight the urge to counter the good/bad with good/bad, since they're addressed
in their respective videos. I could've just made a review, and that's something I'll probably
do eventually, but wanted to try something a little different. Thanks for understanding 🙂

Idk what really made me like genshin but i think it was noelle , her design i adore her. The quiet shy maid which is actually giga chad . She carried me all the way to ar 45 (now im ar 57) . Love to all noelle mains <3

I do like that it doesn’t demand a lot of time every day. It is by far the most aesthetic game I’ve ever played – the music, the characters, the environment – are all amazing.

i also think the character backstories, world lore and overall story of the game are a great part of it. it seems like a lot of thought was put into each character beyond just the kit and design. and the world and its lore in general is super interesting to me. every time dainsleif comes back to exposition dump, I'm not bored, I'm intrigued by what i get to learn

I am very much a lore/character person first and game person second. And I love genshin's characters enough that its faults really aren't that noticeable, especially with how causal a player I am. Fan works and official art carry this game for me.
Its writing isn't perfect, it could use more diverse design motifs for its characters to make new ones stand out, but must a game be good? is it not enough for me to log in and make Itto throw a cow at things?
That's all good and all but how can you compare elden ring world with genshin ?
Genshin world is just a cup to hold domains and abyss but most of others open world games have a good world with minimum dead space specially elden ring
i both like and don't like this game…
The fact that Genshin doesn't demand so much time is good, since that means I can focus on other hobbies and games. And if I feel burned out, I can skip a day or two away from Genshin to recharge.
And sometimes RL can take away your time and energy for many reasons, so not feeling required to login every unless you want to is nice.
I’m not gonna lie ehehe the reason I started playing was because of Zhongli’s trailer that was being blasted all over my for you pages but what made me stay was monds and it’s characters especially Bennett. I know I’m gonna love the up coming nations and characters plus the whole story but monds will hold a special place in my heart🧡.
