The book are ofc and the animation is splendid,but hoyofair is a community based event that " collects" a variety of fan animations.
They are all amazing and professionally made, sure, but its always worth taking them for fan animations and never as confirmations of anything. The canon appearance of the moon sisters is still unknown. This has the same lore weight as Navia and Xiangling opening a bakery in a cyberpunk Fontaine
In fact, I believe the three moons are Unknown Goddess, Paymon, and Istaroth. The 4th shade is Seelie.Aria, solo song, just as we see so far only Asmodeus alone upholding the principles, after the "death of the sisters", and being the ancient goddess of the crimson moon dynasty, in Khraun-Arya. N About saying that the moon set the sands and the sun appeared, it could mean the replacement of dynasties, crimson for eclipse.Canon is a song that has repetition. This could mean Istaroth in new Sansaras, since Rukadevata and later Nahida are the only ones who have a connection with this cycle and Irminsul. (I theorize that she is the replacement for Irminsul's avatar in place of Seelie-, which means soul, after Phanes sacrificed her (the tree with the greatest spiritual power to repair the castle's beams). Deinsleif is the gardener, an outsider who fell in love with her and, with the help of Istaroth, saved the Seelie from a fate of eternal death. We don't know the Seelie's whereabouts.Sonnet, little song. Likely to be Paymon in its reduced form, as well as Guoba. The names were already references to god destiny….

I am not sure about Nibelung being the second who came. Becuse one of Neuvilette's character stories imply that The Usurper and the one who came after made gnoses together. Well Nibelung may also tried to harvest the power of other dragon soveirngs and indirectly helped making the gnoses but for me that seems unlikely.

Another thing to consider is that maybe the "Horse Adeptus" wasn't actually an adeptus! Over the years, characters traveling acoss Teyvat have repeatedly mistook various entities for their home varient, such as mistaking Inazuma's Youkai as a Liyue Adepti! Even Kirara mistook Diona to be another Youkai living in Mondstadt!
If the writer of the Moonlight Bamboo Forest were to describe an entity they've never seen before, that bears similarities to something more recognizable, they would likely call it such! Just think about the Leviathan in the Bible book of Job, or the Dragons of Eastern Asia! Neither are the regional names of these creatures of mythology, but both "Leviathan" and "Dragon" came from a European translation since those creatures were of familiar description to the people it was being translated for!
If a person from Liyue were to see Yae Sakura walking through the hills of Liyue, they'd mistake her for a Fox Adeptus instead of a Kitsune (a.k.a. a Fox Youkai)! So why not this "Horse Adeptus"?
If Sonnet could be the Abyssal/Crimson Moon, then why is she giving power to people like the Sustainer and Arlecchino?
