  1. As people have pointed out and I forgot, the beginner banner is good because it has a limited pool of 4 stars: only the release ones. And the release ones are very good: xingqiu, sucrose, fischl, Bennet, etc all included. One could even argue that if you have bad pulls from your beginner banner it could be worth rerolling. Thanks for the correction guys!

  2. uhh not sure if you missed it or perhaps I missed it 🤣but–

always do your weekly bosses, they are the only ones that drop talent upgrade materials, and ask for help to kill them if you're having a hard time!
easiest way to learn what you should be doing on a daily/weekly basis is to complete the battle pass missions.

  3. idk why we can´t run game like 120 fps most modern pcs (2017+) but it´s not nothing horrible btw Noelle can be really good expecially C6 but i don´t think it´s possible unless you want to spend like 1 trillion dollars or so🙄and yep if you like that character go for it! and my tip take a screenshots it´s a beautiful game

  4. My tips are: 1 – Fight everything you encounter and loot the items. You never know when you'll need those items for an ascention.
2 – Save your wishes for 5 star characters you really want. If you have at least 200 wishes saved, you'll sure get that char. You can farm EXP and boss items before you get him / her. It will save a lot of time.
3 – Think a lot before leveling up a character. What chars do you have? Can they make a good team? What is it lacking off? DPS? Hydro? Dendro?
4 – Farm cristal cores. You'll soon notice you get double of everything in domains and layline quests for the half of the time. You can store 5 Condensed Resins, which is good if you don't have enough time to spend your resins daily.
5 – And most important. Wait. Yes, wait. Don't use all your resources unless you have what you really want. Farm mora and EXP, they are too important in the late game.

  5. For me, the weapon banner is a win or lose cus there is a high chance that you can get the 5* weapon in a single 10 pull, and at 60/70 pity you can get a 5* weapon, but I understand that you can lose to 2 of the weapons that you dont want, and that is the other limited 5* and one from the standard . For me I get my limited 5* weapons in a single pull and I haven't lost my 5050 yet..

  6. I don’t actually agree on the Beginner Banner tip. It’s at a lower cost and can give you multiple 4 star characters if you’re lucky (Again, for a lower wish cost) And not just for the fact that you’d lose 16 wish’s to standard banner pity.
On a personal note, I rolled on the Beginner Banner and got both Mona and Jean from there (At the time I didn’t even know it was good until a friend asked me how tf I had them). So I was lucky but also rerolling is something you can do. And a guaranteed Noelle (Shields+Sustained DPS+Healing) is great for early game.

  7. They should really put a disclaimer on the banners that tell you how far into the game you need to be in order to upgrade certain characters so people aren’t wasting primos

  8. Here's mine:

    1. Collect your character story keys and unlock them. If you don't you'll be capped at 3 keys and can't binge character story quests until you get more.

    2. Learn what every stat does and what characters need what stat and why. You can figure out your own builds by having good stat knowledge and looking at the description of a character's skills

    3. Look up builds online to easily see what stats to generally go for and what artifact sets and weapons to use. Sometimes 4 star weapons outperform anything but the signature weapon.

    4. Look up the most important world quests and do them asap. It literally improves and changes how much of the content in the open world is available to you. Things like the aranara quest and the golden slumber quest are REQUIRED to get all the dendroculi and access entire regions of the game. These are the quests you want to prioritize and you may not even know how to start the questline. The game doesn't really make a point to tell you "this quest is really important"

    5. Character quests can unlock weekly bosses. You must do a few of these in order to be able to level characters. For example, you can't get get characters like baizhu and upcoming ones like Lyney's talents over a certain level without doing Nahida's second quest. Same goes for raiden shogun's second quest.

  9. I wouldn't worry too much about Inazuma characters, you unlock Inazuma as early as AR30 at which point your Inazuma characters are only 10 levels behind max. The ones that require the most to unlock their boss materials are Yae, Shenhe, Raiden, and Sara, but also a shoutout to Yelan, Shinobu and Heizou who require the chasm which is slightly more than the other Inazuma characters.
I also highly disagree with your beginner banner advice, but you already corrected yourself in the pinned comment

  10. Don't unlock story quests if you don't intend to play them soon! It's okay to let your story keys cap at 3/3.

Story quests have a tendency to block progress on other quests until you do them, which will break up the continuity of the gameplay. They also often trigger cutscenes automatically when you enter the area. You can only play each story quest once, so try to be deliberate with your decision to do them.

  11. Farm high-efficiency artifact domains that are not in the strongbox, such as Gilded/Deepwood. Spend your trash 5* on the strongbox to get things like Viridescent Verener, which has a lackluster domain in terms of efficiency

  12. Barbara / Mona / Klee. the most quintessential and adorable character in this damned game, use this godforbidden material: Philameno Mushrrom, damn thing on top of roofs of Mondstad houses only… you'll never get enough, and is so demanding to farm it. You should grab 5 per day. … You can stack around 400 while you advance. 10 per day is good enough. – Bad thing is have the character blocked.
Another thing… goddman SPECTER DROPS… reach Inazuma is headache, enjoy beautiful and pure Liyue+Mondstad, better gameplay and characters ever.

  13. LoL I wouldn't mind getting the Blackcliff Weapon as they are universal, great dps weapon and as a stat stick, they're only useless when it comes to bosses. But in a spiral abyss with 30 monsters that buff is always uptime.

  14. my first 5 star was actually keqing! everyone says shes a bad character and cry for losing 50-50 but i actually see her as a win win situation! it was when i took over my boyfriends account as he was lucky enough to get my favourite 4 stars that i wanted on mine and didnt get and he didnt really enjoy the game – then i got her and immediately started using her as my main dps – until now i literally just cant play without her on my team! i couldnt even get back to my own account until i got her finally from losing 50-50 on the latest yoimiya rerun – then i went full on maxing all i could on there as well 😀

  16. for mid game:
    1. dont stressed out too much about crit stats, as long as you have the balance 1:2 ratio with a decent main stat-scaling that those chars need (A.K.A atk/hp/def/em/er, depends), you're good to go
    2. DONT FORGET ER REQUIREMENT (it really depends on what teams, situation, rotation are u gonna use that char for)
    3. doing a small dmg but consistently is waaay better for the long run than doing one big hit once in a while (for example a taser team)
    4. mainstat > substat > artifact sets. AND some characters doesnt even need to use their BiS artifact (like xiao, fischl, yae, haitham, childe, etc)

  17. 1) Don't burn golden artifacts for XP. Leave them for strong box.
    2) Don't be intimidated by Spiral Abyss too much. Remember that at floors 9-1, 9-2, 10-1, 10-2 and 11-2 you have a lot of time (5 minutes) to get full stars – that's a lot of time to get full rewards! If you manage to get 1 star on each floor of 12 floor and combine it with other stuff I have mentioned, then you should be able to collect 80 – 90% of Abyss rewards easily. Nobody is forcing you to do 36 stars – in fact difference between 33 and 36 stars is just ~50 primos. Also remember that you can restart each floor to change team rotations or prepare yourself better for later chambers (taking time in earlier challenges to heal your characters and keep bursts ready). You can also try abyss at different day to get different chamber bonus (like for example crit bonus, energy recharge or EM bonus).

  18. as someone who is learning about Genshin (6 month total play, AR57)
my advice is after you reach AR45, do not rush to ascend your world level except you have the strong limited 5 stars with decent or appropriate build on them and do not ascend at AR50 because it's final ascension quest
why? – because when you are actually playing every quests and rushing chests and exploring that much, becoming AR55 is so fast, you will reach WORLD LEVEL 8 at AR55 and as someone who only had 3x 5 star characters when i reached AR55 DO NOT RUSH until you get the way to play with it

2nd advice (for f2p players from AR20-50): Always do the weekly bosses at least 4 or 5 times, if you haven't unlocked more than Dvalin, Andrius or Childe that's fine, just get help by pressing on the "MATCH" button beside the start, but if you are confident with your characters and build strength, do it yourself. What you need from weekly boss are the "DREAM SOLVENT" "WEAPON BILLET" and "WEEKLY BOSS MATERIAL*" also you have pretty much good chance to get 5 star artifact even in 60 or 70Level weekly boss

3rd advice: always be aware and watch out for corners and behind the obstacles, there are most of the time at least common chest sitting there, for example: there is Exquisite chest right below the right side (as of direction) of surface
also, always use elemental sight when you are exploring areas (maybe not always but make sure you use it) because interactive objects have different color either chests and stuff

  19. To add to the "Don't rush", if you start after an area just dropped, don't- absolutely DO NOT- aim for that region. You will always be behind. Instead, plan for the next or following region.

So in this case, plan for either Natlan or Shnezniya. You will have way more fun that way.

Yes, you may have the story spoiled for you, but think about the fresh start you'll get when you are past that point and just waiting for the next place in the journey.

  20. Speaking of gadgets, DO get the NRE bag for shortcut to food healing items by Mondstadt reputation. DO get blueprint for condensed resin by levelling Liyue reputation.

  21. My number 1 tip: Do NOT EVER feel pressured to pull for any character. Pull for any character you find enjoyable and interesting for you, be it Cyno or even Dehya.

Just enjoy the game, and don't overwhelm yourself.
