2 YEAR OLD account has NEVER 36-Starred the Abyss?! | Genshin Impact

I’ve been playing Genshin for 2 years now, yet I have never fully 36 starred the Spiral Abyss. (I still cant)

  1. At 12-1 second half the dorito bots need electro to become visible again, you can see the green hp on the small triangle thing, only electro can get rid of it, also in 12-2 second half, the ASIMON needs dendro and electro to even stun it and make it get out of its invisible phase. so for the second half I suggest a quicken team. With the characters you have I think you can go for a nahida fischl, and some other characters.

  2. I can't 36 stars anymore after last 3 patch, though I have c2 Raiden with her weapon, I guess it's skill issue. I never really bother to 36 stars anymore, the difference is only 50 primo anyway. 😅

  3. And yes, there comes a time in all our lives when we realize we need Xingqiu. mine was the og energy amplifier event in 1.5 …….someone had to deal with those damn pyro gunner shields LOL. let this be yours!

  4. I'm playing since the start of the game and my max is 24 stars. I CANNOT do the 12 floor👺👺👺

Although, I gotta say, I maxed the 11th floor only after I sorta built Fischl and Xinqiu.
My first team's damage goes brrr (Xiao, Jean, Zhongli, Albedo), while the second is still limping lmao (Yanfei, Bennet, Xinqiu, Fischl)
Now I'm planning on properly building Xiangling while my Cyno is crying at lvl 60, cause fxck these bugs👺👺

  5. Here are the teams I used:

    Ayato Freeze
    Ayato, Kazuha, Rosaria, Mika

    Hyperbloom
    Alhaitham, Xinqiu/Yelan, Nahida, Kuki

Obviously you can adjust members as needed.

Sometimes I beat the first two chambers then switched to Ayato national for the third chamber cuz of the mirror maiden.

  6. I never clear floor 12 cause I'm too lazy (I'm F2P). On the floor 11 at that time I did:
1 half – Raiden, Xiangling, Xingqiu and Bennett
2 half – Ganyu, Kazuha, Yelan and Diona

  7. came back like a couple of days before fontaine release from being on almost 2year haitus after inuzuma release. glad that my f2p account can still make it on 36*. all about investing on the right support characters and 2 mains that you can swap around. just sad that razor physical is not doing well after I came back so sad to exclude him now on my teams. and I cant 36* it on one run, need the right buff, and also I usually 3* first the last chamber to make sure all bursts are up

  8. Your skill is so awful that I thought you were acting bad to make funny content which you did.
Anyway, I just stumble across this video and gonna give general advice on how to play and not specific suggestions so dont need to follow everything.
    1. Two main dps in a team like keqing and ayato or wanderer and ayato is a generally bad idea due to either overlapping on field times or extending the rotations while many characters skills are already off cooldown. The only exceptions are the two characters on field times are short like tighnari and yae miko. Only ayato has the short on field time in your case.
    2. Quicken teams are strong but requires good investment of max character level due to scaling with additive quicken reaction, weapon levels and high number of useful substat rolls in artifact for the dps. Keqing has weak talent motion values but fast electro application that can drive fischl oz a4 talent that only has 0.5s CD (keqing and fischl relies more on EM). Electro quicken teams should have an anemo character to hold the VV set to shred resistances and are usually the buffers because kazuha and sucrose buffs are just better than the dendro buffers. When using sucrose, use one E every 8s to refresh her buff and VV set instead of using off cooldown. That only leaves dendro to be only sustain left who are kirara or baizhu. Yao yao got powercrept by stagger immunity unless need her against constant hp drain like corrosion. Honestly, i think keqing is still weak even in quicken with fischl and can only compete because of nahida in the dendro slot so no sustain in the team and just relying on the long i frames of keqing burst (nahida is much better off in another team anyway). IMO, yae miko teams are the best quicken teams with electro battery being either fischl or raiden (but fischl got buffed with new E skill dmg set so probably better now). Raiden has slow electro application but strong talent motion values so relies less on EM, the opposite of keqing and less synergy with fischl oz a4 talent. Raiden also wants high burst cost teammates so her premium quicken team would look like raiden yae miko baizhu sucrose or maybe inferior option raiden yae miko dmc jean c2. Yae miko and sucrose can constantly swap to apply their element to circumvent the 2.5s ICD. Usual EM in quicken teams are between 100 and 500 (including buffs) but I am just eyeballing the amount (more useful substats in artifacts matters more than this arbitrary EM number). I just usually get around 200 or 300 EM on their character page except raiden.
    3. Hyperbloom team is strong but is also similar to burgeon and nilou teams to apply similar logic of only the trigger requires max character level. Nahida is the most important dendro character period in those teams due to her 1.5 U dendro E skill and 1 U dendro normal attacks that even at level 1, she is probably better than other dendro characters in her slot. Next hydro, these teams requires consistent hydro application to have consistent blooms that can only hit two times on each enemy every 0.5s CD. The best are obviously yelan and the dorky xingqiu but there are enough information that i will just skip them. However, there are other options like ayato, candance, nilou, kokomi, etc. Ayato has weak talent motion values but makes up for it with consistent hydro application on his burst so you gotta to have enough ER to burst every rotation like minimum 125% ER when together with xingqiu sac sword r5. Ayato is on field and stands still when normal attacking so is prone to getting hit a lot so dont feel bad about putting a hp sands on ayato as he does scales a bit with hp but not as much as atk or just put xingqiu with him. Ayato being weak generally means he is not the best in any other team archetype and definitely not good in that hypercarry ayato team with yunjin and bennett unless you whaled on ayato. In fact, ayato is just powercrept by yelan in his maybe best team which is hyperbloom imo. Next is electro trigger, kuki consolidates healing and consistent electro application around the character that can touch the ground which means touching the dendro cores. Build kuki max character level and full EM and maybe some ER so her burst can be followed up by xingqiu fast hydro application of double E and weaving normal attacks with his burst that is done before hand. Alternative to kuki is to use raiden full EM with dragonsbane. It feels bad to put EM on such a strong character but her E consistent electro application has very far range as long as you are hitting the enemy. Just imagine a team of nahida E, ayato Q and raiden E causing hyperblooms everywhere around you. In this team, instead of kuki electro being the healer, you have to use hydro as the healer so either kokomi or barbara are used. Just go the usual ER/hp hp healing bonus set on them. Finally, prioritize activating your off field abilities before any on field abilities to trigger hyperblooms faster even if you have to delay like say xingqiu sac sword double E.
    4. International which is superior to all other nationals and pyro vape/melt teams in my bias humble opinion. This team requires very high investment (as in artifact substat rolls) to be as good or better than the mentioned teams before where they also have similar very high investment so I would not really recommend this to new players. Furthermore, you dont have childe and kazuha who made this high dps height possible. I am just going to assume you know snapshotting on xiangling does so I am moving to the advanced mechanics. Xiangling pyronado can hit the same enemy again after about 1/3 or 3/5 of a rotation so dashing clockwise to the clockwise pyronado after the first hit can allow another hit so two total hits with xiangling pyronado quickly against a single target so the best on fielders synergy with xiangling are people who can dash like childe dash animation cancelling his charged attack or sucrose normal attacking in normal national when you have already activated bennett c6 or why else use sucrose on field in national.
    5. Instructor set is op, prioritize only ER followed by usually hp. The 5 star off piece is usually ER sands. You will be putting this set on kirara and baizhu in the quicken team, maybe barbara or kokomi in the hyperbloom team with raiden as trigger (or any flex in general including eula without actually using her kit) and on bennett in the national teams. You could farm healing bonus for the healers or a dps set on bennett.

Honorable mentions are the anemo hypercarry teams with c6 faruzan but who has faruzan at c6 without wanderer at c2 so they just have better stats in the end.

If you have to pull anyone, can get yelan and kazuha. Maybe childe. But definitely save for fontaine hydro archon or anyone else that is op. But that is my opinion, just play however you like to have fun.

  9. thanks for sharing your malding. as someone that startet in 2.5 and 36* six months later this gameplay makes me to want to give tips just by watching it. that kind of bsg is no fun tho for most. im someone that loves to dive deep into gamemechanics of the games i play, so i still cant wrap my head around casual playstyle of games that well. you do you and have fun is the very first piece of advice and it should always come before anything else. but since you asked so sincere for help let some random dude elaborate. IT IS NOT SKILL ISSUE imo but just knowledge you are missing or pretending to miss to farm video interaction. im fine with both. figuring out that Ayato team for 11-3 was great to watch. teambuilding can be a fun process. designing teams for each chamber can make it a bit easier to tackle the abyys. dont feel pressuered to 36. aiming for 33 or 30 is totaly fine. try to just clear floor 12 before optimising speed. by that you will get more familiar with enemies and their gimmicks. or watch/read guides on the current abyss you are trying figure out as kind of an shortcut. understanding the mechanics more in depth will make combat a lot easier and once you have the knowledge you will be able to apply it in the future. tho i can understand if you are not willing to basicaly "study" for a videogame. there are many very good character suggestions in the comments allready. bennet, xiangling, succrose and xingqiu can enable any teamcomp/characters you would need. 80/90 them, leveling talents and weapons and giving them decent artifacts is pure metaslavery but meta is called meta for a reason. on a more personal note as an ayaka main it pains me to see her in that state. you even have shenhe. freez is a teamcomp that is kinda easy to play even tho i doubt that you are hiving mechanical issues. if you dont like xingqiu there is always mommy Yelan but that is kinda biased not not to be taken to serious. so to sum it up: try to understand gamemechanics and invest a bit more into meta if you want to have an easier time with abyss. dont forget to have fun. have a great time. f2p btw

  10. Abyss Rotated away 😅, but my braindead team for the first half was an electro. charged team with Venti, Kazuha, Fishl, and Barbara as the driver. The constant CC makes the run really comfy.

Edit: Just realized you don't have the anemo boys in your roster. Taser with Sucrose carry can replace the comp I used.

  11. i think the problem is your team building. i know it sucks to not be able to use your favourite characters, but if your goal is to 36 star the abyss, then investing and using teams that counter the enemies will make a huge difference.

    AND BUILD XIANGLING AND XINGQUI.
