  1. We all thought Fontaine was France… But its actually Australia. Also "caterpillar" could be a reference to Papillion (meaning butterfly) a fictional biography of a French criminal sentenced to hard labour in South America who escapes and starts a new family/life in Venezuela. It was publishe around teh 1960s and as far as I know is very well known and has been adapeted into atleast one movie.

  2. This only really upsets me about not having anything for Natlan. I’m excited for Fontaine obviously and I’ll try to focus on that but man all 4. updates I just hope we get the Natlan crumbs, hopefully not just 4.8 and whatever Focalors will have to say about the region. NPC dialogue is sooo interesting as well

  4. Based on items or beings, the central ones we've had were:
    Mondstadt – Intro
Liyue – Gods and archons, archon war.
    Inazuma – Visions
    Sumeru – Irminsul
    Fontaine – Celestia?
    Natlan – ?
    Snezhnaya – Gnoses?
    Khaenri'ah – Abyss?

  5. this was a good video, but i disagree about the location of chenyu vale. i had always assumed that it and the blackcliff forge would be near each other in the south of liyue – which would "connect" liyue harbor and the southern parts of the chasm together. the area there looks sort of mountainous, and would smoothly connect to the nearby mountain range

  6. im just guessing but maybe the swim system is like sorush flying. cause usually if you see carefully they tested them first in version before. like enkanomiya to test the underground map etc then they release chasm.

  7. Predictions!!!

since every nation goes deep with the elements, like Aranaras in the Sumeru rainforest, i Reallllyyy hope Fontaine has MERMAIDS and such creatures that not everyone know of, and only some people can see or interact with them

  8. Wait i still didn't do the world quest for the new sumeru area but if the previous hydro archon died during the cataclysm doesn't that make focalor the same age as nahida?
    She seems older than her

  9. In the end with that Liyue map extension its gonna be the biggest region again? Because I was totally sure Sumeru was the biggest.. but holysh.. if the next extension gonna be that huge o.o

  11. Genshin is already big on its own, and with Sumeru and its underground areas was a killjoy. Now Fontaine has underground and underwater? I am gonna die before I explore all of it. O well, more primogems at least.

  12. I think that likely factories don't care about pollution precisely because the water in Fontaine is so pure. It likely can absorb a lot of pollution which makes the people think that dumping their waste into it has no consequence. They probably have been doing it for a long time, but then only now the water is failing and the pollution is building up, like with the Ganges River

  13. Inazuma feels like yesterday. When it was almost 3.0 I quit genshin because my iPad couldn’t handle it anymore. I miss playing it though, I’m looking forward for Fontaine and other regions as well. Can’t believe in 2 years this game will finally end.
