Zhongli will change his location day by day. After completed event on storyteller, the day after was in front of blacksmith and then on the Liyue's books store. I don't know after this but he could probably on another location as well.

After the Lantern Rite, I found Zhongli 3 days after on different places (storyteller, ironmonger and Library where we found the Yaksha book), Xingqiu and Chonghyun in Qingce Village, Yunjin at Granny Ruoxin's Place, Baizhu and Qiqi near the teleport of Qingce Village, Yanfei at Yujing Terrace as in the video, Xiangling in Wanmin, Keqing still standing at Jade Chamber, Xiao near the Pervases statue (according to Zhongli it's possible he may appear at Dihua Marsh tomorrow) Hu Tao at Wangsheng Funeral Parlor and Shenhe near the docks of Liyue Harbor. I am not sure if Xinyan and Beidou are there or not cuz I searched for them everywhere but couldn't find them
as a chinese its actually funny to see Cloud Retainer asking about Ganyu's career and crushes, they're like literally the most common questions you get from your relatives during chinese new year lmao.
Well this Lantern Rite merely a rerun so anything happens right now just moments in the past when MC still in Liyue, so I think it should be defeat Osial -> rebuild Jade Chamber-> ( whatever random event to meet new char after many rerun ) -> Lantern Rite. Teleport Waypoint is canon but I think MC only use it when emergency or else we already escape Inazuma.
Paimon committed to help find our sibling in 1.3, and it inadvertently came true in 1.5, so there was a change of plans since then and it makes sense that this is canonically traveler's second lantern rite.
Zhongli move spot everyday, ytd i find him in front of master zhang and today in wanwen bookhouse. Idk if the rest does the same or not.
Sometimes, you go a bit far fetched with the theories. This lantern rite is definitely canon. Paimon was just giving the traveller hope on the last one. It doesn’t mean that they just have to spend the 2nd one together.
Also, many characters constantly said that we have just arrived or visiting Liyue for the Lantern Rite. Plus, Paimon tells Ningguang that we have seen fireworks in other places. And that other place is Inazuma. So, this is happening after the Inazuman quests are all over.
Technically, that also means that the Yae and Raiden 2nd story quests will be canonically before this lantern rite.
Okay, I am soooo intrigued by Yanfei’s parents…
And Moon Carver’s human form…and, uuuh …eherm…lol
if paimon said "we will spend the next lantern rite togther" doesn't mean it will be guranteed to happen
Why not canon? If I say next Christmas I'll bring a significant other, but don't find one before that, that doesn't mean my Christmas never existed

Fun fact : moonchase happened before we rebuild the jade chamber so that mean we spent 1 year in monstadl and liyue then we rebuild the jade chamber then second lantern rite then inazuma
I was running all around the place trying to find QiQi. Oddly I end up finding Yun Jin first before QiQi. Oddly even run into xiao. Even he not even in the city the whole time. I found him next to a way point area and next to river area.
this is why im skeptical everytime watching your vids. some i can accept it did happen but then you be throwing some random made up theory, that gullible viewers might think it a fact when it not. this is canonly 2nd lantern rite. only apply as 1st lantern if they're new players joined after 1st lantern rite ended. for veteran we'll get to meet past lantern rite npcs hinting about the 1st event. paimon's dialogue is just wishful thinking and as comfort for traveller since that time we haven't met our twin yet.
and it canon traveller do come back to liyue and monstadt for festival, waypoints are canon for traveller and just a statue in the wild for normal folk. no one can stop them going anywhere if they can teleport just easily, only they have to activate it first so still go by boat to inazuma for first time.

Wait, but Shenhe is not an Adeptus? Her whole quest was about her just being a human with a curse and how much it irked her when ppl called her an adeptus
all the events are canon. this is their second lantern right and Paimon was just wrong.
Paimon says "I wonder how lantern rite is going this year" and every character's dialogue indicates this is our second lantern rite we've been to. Even Xiao confirms it. "Will you come watch the fireworks with us this year?" And he says "I already told you, this isn't my kind of thing". It's definitely canon. I even played it on an account that didn't do lantern rite last year and dialogue hasn't changed

this is also a good chance to achieve the achievement: meet people around or something like that.
the achievement requirement is meeting the characters about 10 of them. I was suprised when I got it 🤣
the people that said “ganyu was dating xiao during the war😒🙄” after they find out ganyu was single the whole entire time and that ganyu and Xiao were raised by the same people: 😡❤️

Second lantern rite is canon, paimon had a wish that didn't came true, but we still await their reunion
This doesn't mean the second Lantern Rite isn't canon, just that the Traveler failed miserably.
