I'm thinking outside of the dendro Era, just like before dendro won't hail forever and I need a better shielder
My zhongli current weapon is the black tassel it's the best for his shield even though mine has no constalation
I also wish we can toggle rather or not he'd erect a Steade when hold skill. Most of the time, the Pillar gets in my way.
….also… his Vortex Vanquisher should be party wide strengthening.
Zhongli is still the best until now. You can put him in any teams, and still function just slap him with TOM and Fav lance and he ready to go.
i use zhongli with ayato, dendro traveler, and fischl. his shield protect my ayato from dendro seed explosion. exploring sumeru with this team is so much fun. but idk i still cant find a suitable zhongli team for spiral abyss
Imagine releasing a geo character with a skill/burst that can deal continuous damage based on the amount shield strength or shield hp, that would change things despite geo not having an offensive reaction unlike other elements.

With zhongli genshin impact is easy
He was the second character I pulled, and I use him in every team I can. Is Geo as an element currently not the most relevant? Yes, no doubt about that. But there is such a large roster of not-dendro characters still that could use a shielder as strong as him.
Not to mention just being able to chill in overworld without worrying about enemy aggro.

We could have a character that spends crystalized shields into bonus damage like yunjin's buff or aggravate, that would be cool. Or new reactions based on combination of elements like dendro has.
Geo reaction is badly designed to begin with. It’s the characters that are good, not geo.
Nothing's changed about him other than that corrosion thing. Still the best shielder and IMHO still the best looking character in the game.
all i want for a future geo character is a support character that utilizes the crystallize shields and gives an elemental damage bonus % based on what element the crystal is. (yes ik archaic petra does this, but imagine a whole characters kit built around it)
Geo is raw damage. Doesn't need any reaction.

Well recently i got Zhongli and im pretty happy with it cause he can protect my Eula from getting interrupted while trynna stack her burst
If a new Geo character appears, they may give them a skill where it causes reflection damage (DoT) while the shield is up which it relies on DEF for durability and EM to boost its damage unlike Noelle's shield which it will only cause damage when the shield is gone.

Geo definitely needs something going for it like actual reactions.
The only thing it has is Crystallize and considering Zhongli and Noelle give you a better shield anyways it is very useless.
Geo also has the fewest characters sadlt
Geo doesn't need reactions as long as it hits hard.
So i did well by losing my zhongli 50/50 to a kequing spamming q for dendro electro comps?
Unless they change his face, he'll always be relevant to me.
