Can't get into MMOs where you have dozens of non-customizable characters with gacha mechanics for levelling up. I would've LOVED this game if you leveled up a single character at a time…

I quit this game after they fucked me out of finishing the Fischl event Reconciliation of Stars or whatever it was called. I was really angry when they removed it when I was in the middle of it.

Although the gacha system is a little sus, Genshin is a game I’ll always support. Between the design, characters, combat, animation, story/lore, grind, economy, mini games, adventure, and coop (although, admittedly limited) Genshin is objectively a great game.
Yes, it’s a bit slow sometimes, but that’s why there are other things besides this game to put energy into!

Yeah, I don't think you're gonna be exicted for the changes in 2.0. For those who play the game, yes, since there will be new characters and content but since you don't really play the game, you're probably not really attached to those things. For you, the systematic changes are probably more important and well, Genshin is getting more P2W in this patch.
Well, kinda. The game is still easy enough for F2P players to clear content comfortably and it's not a competetive game, but the power gap between whales and non-whales will widen considerably. This is because the 6th constellation bonuses, something only whales can get, has gotten MUCH stronger now. Constellations will now increase a character's performance by 50-100% or more or even change how the character can be played. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that they can make or break some characters.

Another map to jump around and clear in about 30 minutes. Maybe the story will be good?

Unless they got rid of the heavily anti-consumer gacha bullshit, and hard-gated multi character progression, then my prayers have yet to be answered. I legitimately love the gameplay and the concept of genshin impact, but the systems in this game make it un-fucking-playable to me. I've yet to see a legitimate reason why it should cost in game currency to level up from exp books, it's stupid. Add in the ridiculous amount of money you can wind up spending just to get characters that you actually want to play, much less max out, is absurd.
I'd play the game if the gacha wasn't so terrible… no real reason to play it if you can't even max out a character without spending thousands of dollars.

All of these are nice however I would love it more if they could make ATLEAST one of the new characters and weapons obtainable by just playing the game and NOT by this bs gatcha system
i got hacked and then the bastards deleted my account.. twice.. and mihoyo did nothing to help.. i would not support this gamble game unless you got deep pockets and self control like a monk.. i wasnt.. i wasted so much cash on this game.

I hate this game because it’s all level restricted I can’t continue the main story till I get to rank 25
I really do love the game even though I know it’s not perfect and do have a love/hate relationship with some things about game but over all I love it’s story, characters and it’s battle system. I know that the devs do care about the game although corporate practice does get in their way of making the game better faster at times. I believe as time goes on and it is further developed it will evolve into something even better. I’ve been playing essentially since beginning and look forward to 2.0 and beyond.
P.S. just wanted to add the soundtrack for this game from region to region from area to area and even the fight/combat music is really well done and down right beautiful to hear at times.
I wish that the game had jump cancels and air combos. If it ever got that? I'm going to dump dollars into it. HARD.
