The Mondstat arch was faster paced. The chapters since then tend to be slower paced in the middle, for world building and laying groundwork for the climatic ending. And those endings have yet to disappoint
I think you guys should check out some more of the far cry games
in reference to the “doesn’t seem to like paimon” paimons really silly and adorable at first but later in the more recent regions she’s gotten more irritating you could say? she says some stuff that’s kinda off and mildly microaggressive (also doesn’t help that her voice actor had gotten into some issues w the fanbase ages ago so that soured her for a lot of people too) so overtime people’s opinions changed on her but yeah typically it’s her high pitched voice that throws people off.

By the way, I would like to see you check out Reverse 1999 at some point, it’s pretty interesting in its own right.
Liyue was really the most slow paced & full of very long essay – style text compared to other regions. But as you get near to its last part, the finale is really good…But 90% of its story was really boring.
Hope you get to Inazuma which the story will be really exciting, up to Sumeru & Fontaine regions that were both Hyped & Masterpiece.
It wasnt mentioned in the playthrough here, but Amber did help the Traveler put up Missing Persons posters for the Traveler's lost sibling.
At this exact moment in the story, there is nothing going on in Liyue that can help locate the protagonist's sibling. This state slightly predated their arrival in Liyue and will start changing following the resolution of the immediate plot. It isn't a coincidence, but it also isn't directly related to what's going on.
Since this scene in the Jade Chamber I have the feeling that Paimon isn't as dumb as she wants we think about her.
That whole "I give you a gift, I want one in return" was very sus, like if she forced us to look to the wall of papers to redirect us to the Sigil of Permission the Fatuus were making…
… Or could be Paimon is just simply dumb. XD
