So #yoimiya is a pretty fun unit overall, but unfortunately I don’t think she is very good. With perfect artifacts and weapon, sure! She can hit hard. So can every other character in #genshin. I like her visually, but her gameplay isn’t for me

Edit: no her artifacts weren't optimal. Also: a lot of footage is from my initial reactions. I used her for 2 hours. I threw the same artifacts in diluc and even a xiangling and I was underwhelmed my Yoimiya
I feel like for her ult you need some one that has some type of fast attack to be able to proc her ult pretty consistently
I got Yoimiya on one 10 pull.. first time ever i feel she is not worthy to have.. i feel like im using a pyro fishcl again.. auto attacking thing.. quick swap for AOE.. but man.. only her burst is swappable? She bring no new gameplay to this game.. she feels like not fun to have for "long" and also if you have experience with the game she is not refreshing to have… atleast sayu is on her banner. For me right now sayu is offering alot of new things. Sayu is fun to play, very refreshing and worth to have and the thing is Sayu is the main thing on this banner "for me".
Yeah everything is fine but it doesn't mean a character that is worse than ganyu is a bad character. I agree with you in some ways – in some I don't. Firstly we have to agree that she IS worse than ganyu. But in my opinion she is better than diluc. Secondly It appears that her design is meant to deal a good amount of damage to single target. We could see that she was struggling with many opponents grouped up. Next thing is an artifact set: I'm considering this new set that consumes your energy. Yeah her ult is pretty specific and I think that its meant to be used after E so as you wait for your elememtal skill to charge up you can use your burst and swich to other sup-dps to make explosions. After that use E again. Overall i think yoimiya is worse than hu tao/ganyu/xiao/kazuha but she definitely isn't the worst 5* in the game. I can clafify that she is "balanced". Hey it's her first day ppl haven't discovered anything that can improve her yetand i think that will happen soon. AND SHE IS CUTE ASF

If only her E made the Normal Attack do AOE with less and less damage the further the enemy is from the first target.

I still don't understand how her ult works. It doesn't do much. 4-star characters may be better than her. I have her since I really wanted her but for now, she is underwhelming to play. Even in the test run.
I tried her out and man…she felt underwhelming during the trial run in her quest but I hoped it was just me not using her right. But after using her in the trial run of the banner it's pretty hard to come up with a reason to pull for her 🙁 her ult doesn't do the damage I was expecting and to me isn't fun to play with at the moment. Which is such a shame given her personality, design and lore
I'm going to stick with Amber for a pyro archer and hope that kokomi's banner has Sayu in it too. (or maybe having hu tao is the reason she feels so underwhelming??? idk…)

Her ult and charge attack is kind of useless… Im just happy i got yoimiya early and i still have 80 pulls left for baal. I wish i win 50/50 tho

I got yoimiya 6 wishes in and won the 50/50, when I was only going ten in for a chance at Sayu. The one time I didn’t want the character is the one time I get lucky, thanks mihoyo.
I like the character model of Yoimiya or herself but her skill set is trash

I was leveling up amber and decided to pull a 10 randomly and got Yoimiya. I'm really happy 🥰
I did the math by averaging the total damage for yoimiya for 5 seconds and diluc with burst for 5 seconds. Diluc has higher damage per hit but since he has much lower attack speed then yoimiya, the average damage is not that different

I pulled for 4 star and got yomia and Diana and new 4 star in one 10 pull lol and I just got ayaka three summons a go
She honestly feels like whale-bait. Most of her issues get patched up by her constellations, so high cons feel like a must. Compared to Diluc who can give you good mileage even with C0, and the fact you can get him on almost any banner feels like a slap in the face. Even Xiangling who also needs some cons to be "broken" is a 4* and your first copy is free, and you can get her on any banner, on top of her being a common rate up 4*. I honestly agree with people that you can't make broken 5* and then smash on the breaks cause you suddenly care about "balance"
