If you are fine with invest in a character knowing that there is an existing character, who is greater with less investment and has more interesting gameplay-wise, then pull away into oblivion you go. If you ever regret that decision, just quit the game EZ and if you spend money for that character, money is a small price for a mistake 😀

  2. Thank you for properly testing and showing her builds. So many people tried horrible builds and just shat out a video for their viewers. I like that her constellations really max out her damage at c2-c3, and the rest are kind of just for fun or pushing her playstyle to use her ult more. She definitely is a really strong and consistent character for what she does having all her damage tied to her elemental skill.

  3. Congratulations you managed to make a video without making anyone mad I was hoping for a little more courage to tell the truth. Playstyle, design, personality are all important but represent different values for different players but how viable a character is is something objective and you managed to slip the entire video without talking about that. Yoimiya has some problems and needs some changes I would rather see a video warning people about her problems instead of managing not talk bad about "meta-slaves" or "waifu>meta".

  4. Hmmm what if you pop yoimiyas burst, pop electro travelers burst, use sayus skill to roll around doing constant overload dmg 😀 I wanna try it!!! looks at inventory oh nvm I have no resin -_-

  5. My level 60 Yoimiya is doin more damage than my main dps which is geo Traveller at level 80(her artifacts is also a higher level) and Yoimiya is doing more damage. Love her.
    Edit: lemme add some more information. Geo traveller is using a r3 prototype rancour at level 80 and Yoimiya is using a r3 rust also at level 80. Talent levels for traveller is 8 9 9 and Yoimiya is 4 4 3.

  6. I had some prejudices because everyone was criticizing Yoimiya, but I got her and I can't get tired of trying her out. I was totally not prepared to get her, I pulled on her banner only because I heard Sayu made crystal catching easier, but I'm really happy now. She is a lot of fun and something very new to me. I don't love bow characters because I'm a mobile player, but she makes things a lot easier because she just needs her normal attack and when I try to use the charged attack she can manage to hit the enemy even if you don't aim properly. If you have any crowd control like Kazuha, you can solve her aoe issues, but I'm sure she would be op against big bosses (especially the cryo/hydro ones). I also didn't have any pyro 5*, so I'm super happy. She really reminded me that this game is more about fun rather than big numbers on the screen.

  7. It's sad that most people are just looking at Yoimi around her dmg.
    Her flaw isn't her dmg. Yes her dmg is a bit underwhelming but it's not even the worst part of her character.
    It's her kit.
    For a 5* she has a horrible kit that doesn't synergise at all with her. Kindling fire is trash. Her E skill is super boring, just a copy paste of her AA, with pyro infusion and more dmg. But worse cause no more Kindling fire. This is such lazy design, especially for a 5*.
    Her Q is so bad. In a support setup, with the ult animation and character switching cooldown, you'll be lucky to get 5 hits. With the ICD implication and the 2s CD restriction, why make the dmg modifier so low?
    Overall, Yoimiya dmg is alright. But her gameplay kit is so bad.
    You can't make dmg be poor along with trash kit.

  8. NOOO! DAMN it why did I pull on her banner I just told myself I was not gonna get her and it was only one pull and I got her damn it I wanted baal. Why do I have to suffer damn it i dont have 100$ to waste i wanna go back in time 30min ago. I hate it i got diluc instead of ayaka then got yoimiya i have 3 5 star pyro characters i just wanted baal or ayaka I have no cryo or electro 5 star

  9. Her kits are somewhat unique, but her q is just useless. The explosion should be more frequent like xingqiu's burst because why not? she'll be better a xiangling. Her e should do more dps considering it has no aoe. That should be enough changes that give people reasons to pull her. Her design is very good, and her personality is very energetic. I pulled her yesterday (within 25 pulls, tho i was trying to get Sayu) , and i built her till lv60. I realized that i don't need her for any content, and I can't find characters that work well on her. I believe she has a potential to be a great duo with childe, and they will be so much fun with baal (we can just swap these 3 characters over and over again). Also, I hope she gets something like childe's 4 set artifacts :/

  10. yoimiya atk buff (and noblesse and pyro resonance) doesnt work well with hu tao tho. Imagine putting albedo (OR VV SUCROSE lol 4*) instead of yoimiya. Thats a much better team comp.

I just rolled Yoimiya as a f2p trying to get Sayu (very far from pity, first time I've had really good luck in this game) and while it's hard to get super high damage from her she has great synergy with a lot of good four stars. Using Kazuha with her for crowd control and Fischl for overload kicks ass, and as somebody who prefers melee she works really well with melee characters and is making me get much better at ranged. Overall she's really fun, I just wish I had a good weapon for her.

  12. I straight up C1'd my Yoimiya and got a C6 Sayu in the meantime 😀 (Keqing bombed my pity like 20 pulls after my initial Yoimiya, but it saved me a lot of primos so eehhh)

    They were some rlly good pulls, and I'm so happy bc I adore Yoimiya and just love her playstyle. I also spoiled her by pulling for the Thundering Pulse hehe, so worth it though she surpassed my expectations a lot.
