  4. This was a really good summary of Yoimiya, but I did notice some outdated information that I just thought I should mention as I've done extensive testing of her builds.

    The 4 piece Shimenawas build is only optimal in teams where she's able to kill everything in 1 to 2 rotations of her kit, or against many small enemies that drop enough particles to overcompensate for the loss in energy. Otherwise the teamwide attack buff outdamages the bonus from the set in most scenarios, even with enough ER, as this usually means you've sacrificed other artifact substats.

    The other thing to mention is that The 4 piece Echoes of an Offering set actually outdamages every other set in almost all scenarios, though it is also luck based, this is going off average luck. In Vaporise/Melt teams it's on par with Crimson Witch in terms of damage output, with the potential to exceed it by a lot at good rng. And in Mono-Pyro teams, it's just a straight upgrade over Lavawalker by a significant amount, even when you get bad luck. It is outdamaged by 4 piece Shimenawas when you can defeat everything in 1 or 2 rotations, but that's not going to be most players. It's also fairly easy to farm, as you can easily use a mix of 2 Echoes, and 2 Vermillion until you get the 4 set.

    When it comes to her weapon ranking, there's a slight different order to the weapons that I think should get a bit of attention brought to it as well. Thundering Pulse is her best weapon of course; but Polar Star is actually her second best 5*, it just requires a slightly different play style to optimise the damage output, in third place for the 5* weapons is the Aqua Simulacra. However, I also think it's worth to mention that the R5 Rust is on par, and can even exceed the Aqua Simulacra, in terms of damage output, and given that it's much easier to obtain than a specific 5* weapon, more players will have this available to them. For most players who want to build her the best thing to do is to equip R1 Rust if you have it, then gradually refine it. If you get Skyward Harp on the standard banner, then swap to that, before swapping back to Rust once it's R4+ and just sticking with that until you either get Polar Star or Thundering Pulse.

  6. I skipped her on the first run because I already have hu tao and other meta reasons. Now I wanted her so bad. I only had one chance to hit the pity, she chose to come home 😭😭 I don't deserve her

  20. I win Yoimiya 5050 so happy I get her and so regretfull skipping her last year.
    I am F2p and meta slave in early, I 36 star abyss from around 1.5 and nowadays super ez to 36 star abyss even with 2 char only both side.
    I play hutao team with XQ/yelan and after more than 1 year playing NA CA jump etc etc doing rotation etc etc
    when I play yoimiya, there's no things like that, just E pew pew pew everything is dead. No rotation no theory craft no technique (like jump cancel etc etc)
    Just click click gaming so satifying to lazy but strong at the same time

    Yoimiya wanters shall be Yoimiya havers. I’m going for Thundering Pulse this time around, so I may need the luck too, but I don’t care too much. Yoimiya is a pretty good unit imo, even with her issues. She’s gotten me through a lot of content, even when her artifacts were in the works. I mostly fell in love with her personality, but I also like just pressing the normal attack button, doing 60k, and saving the thinking for my artifact choices. I’m mostly just here to shill and flex because I also triple crowned her, but if you need any more convincing…

  22. Is there any specific reason that 4pc Echoes wasn't recommended as one of her optimal artifact sets? It seems like it would be really good on her due to her reliance on normal attacks, the only big downside I can think of being that it's buggy at high levels of ping.
