I just finished this story quest and I love the fact that Baizhu's quest had a lot of cameos from Liyue characters (Qiqi, Hu Tao, Xiao etc)!

I am wondering if Xiao recognized her, changsheng, in a different form, or if he knew her from a long time ago.

I have very little evidence to support my claim. These are speculation on my part.

Xiao and baizhu have similar eyes. And we later found out that baizhu got his eyes from changsheng.
When he saw her, he noted that immortality may not be the blessing he thinks it is. Xiao being an immortal himself.
If he knew this from the beginning, perhaps due to her name meaning long life.
Intersting tidbit is that she is voice by the same va as bonanus, the hydro yaksha.(she had like one line. she said brother Bosacius)
He said Chi was a serpent ๐ could that mean Changsheng is the weakened form of chi? Similar to guoba being the stove god?
Changsheng asked if all Adeptus materialize out of thin air like that. But, as far as I know, Xiao is the only one who does that, so maybe she remembers that from the time she knew him.
The way xiao looked down with wide eyes after he saw her too, was like he was bothered/shocked/surprised she was alive.
Seemed like a trauma response but that is just my personal thoughts
Maybe she even once helped xiao with his own karmic debt. Who knows?

Many might not be so fond of Xiaoโs English va but the fact that she sounds nothing like a female, sheโs definitely talented
