  1. Whenever I hear stories of celebrities being convicted for sexual abuse, there's always going to be that little voice in my head going "Yeah, well so was Bill Cosby."

  2. in the case of genshin actually 3 tanned characters were leaked the issue is that the sumeru region is divided between a dense forest and a desert the middle east has people of all colors in the case of the first 3 genshin regions it is because they are based on the Germany China and Japan

  3. They're going to be fighting an uphill battle against china on waifus not being white. "Jade like skin" is one of the most prominent phrases in descriptions of beautiful women over there. It was a cultural thing. Racist sure, but china doesn't give a fuck. Being casually racist isn't even the worst thing their government promotes.

  4. The funny thing about colour controversy in genshin is that there are many middle eastern ppl that actually have pale skin. We don't need westerners to defend our representation lol

  5. 12:21 Pac-Man's family has actually been a point of controversy with this new remake. In the original, his family consisted of Ms. Pac-Man (his wife), Pac-Jr. (his son), Pac-Baby (his daughter), Professor Pac (his father-in-law), Chomp-Chomp (his dog), and Pooka (his friend). Each of these characters debuted in their own arcade games developed in the west by Midway, not Namco, with the exception of Chomp-Chomp (who debuted in the Hanna-Barbara Pac-Man cartoon) and Pooka (who debuted in the Namco-developed game Dig Dug.) Because all but one of these characters weren't created by Namco, there have been a lot of copyright issues regarding them in the past decade, especially Ms. Pac-Man. So, this remake changes the family. Ms. Pac-Man and Pac-Baby have been renamed Pac-Mom and Pac-Sis and now have different headwear and weird eyes and no noses which make them look like they were made for a completely different art style, Pac-Jr. and Chomp-Chomp have been renamed Pac-Boy and Pac-Buddy but look mostly the same, and Pooka and strangely Professor Pac are completely unchanged.
But yeah, it sucks that a character as iconic as Ms. Pac-Man had to be replaced, especially when her replacement has such an ugly design.
