  1. Imagine we stopped the Fatui's plans throughout the rest of game and we just caused the destruction of Teyvat. I actually kinda hope they obtain all of the Gnosis and succeed.

The lore being Khaenri'ah is kind of like the Ikana in Majora's Mask where they were once a civilization but now turned into a wasteland. It's also very interesting that the leftovers of Khaenri'ah (abyss) are targeting the respective gods of their nations while harming innocent lives in the process.
When you think about it, it does not paint the lost civilization in a already good light. Probably gonna find f'ed up dark secrets within the dead civilization.

  3. Idk why but when you brought up that Rex Lapis can no longer make Mora that made something click. The Honkaiverse games have civilization as a prominent theme. I'm not going to draw any connections to HI3 or something with this but perhaps the Gnoses play the role of "managing civilization."

The Geo Gnosis grants the "divine right to create currency" and encourage trade. Venti didn't use it but considering his inaction it's probably something that works against his idea of Freedom. Considering Anemo characters are paradoxically chained down by their responsibilities what if the Anemo Gnosis had a civilization-based ability well suited to oppressing a population?

Idk, even I think I'm reaching here.

  4. As for why celestia doesn't just send a nail on the fatuis head is because they want to prove a point. By effortlessly defeating a long and grand plan as the tsaritsa's, they would prove that humans will never be able to defeat them, sending teyvat in caos and making people lose hope. Only for the traveller to keep fighting despite the odds and make everyone fill their hearts with determination, and use this power to defeat celestia

  5. It makes me wonder why the Fatui aren't more open with their ultimate aim. It's implied to be for a greater good so should in theory be able to get others on side. Instead they are highly secretive and cause everyone to hate them. Obviously the main reason is build up the story, but it will be interesting how it plays out.

  6. Theirs is an old narrative device, the guys fighting the good war but their methods are criminal.
Because of that they will most likely fail. So the Traveller can step in show the error of their ways and stuff. Also doubt they will ever permanent allies.
And since the final chapter on this arc is pretty much obviously about the abyss order and the twins.
All this stuff of going against the Heavenly Principles might be stuff to Arc 2.

  7. Abyssal magic and celestial magic creates some unknown opposing reaction (maybe like matter and anti matter) so the fatui has access to both maybe they might find something new with this type of magic.

  8. I think that when genshin reach endgame ( surely not soon) the traveller will unite with the fatui and the archons without their gnosis because i think its a control device. put tinfoil hat

  9. well we now know what an another Harbinger is known as Regrator if you go through Yelan's story quest the name is mentioned but is this the one Harbinger we don't know about or is this the name they are known by outside the Fatui and it's already 1 of the confirmed Harbingers

  10. To be completely honest? I hope that Snezhnaya gets destroyed. I know the Traveller is kind and what not but really, they're just trying to find their twin. In fact, I'd say that the abyss twin is the 'kind' one. I really just want the Traveller to grab their sibling and leave Teyvat.

"Let them perish, they brought it upon themselves."

    Also take Paimon with them.

  11. Are Celestial powers and abyssal powers supposed to be all that different? Idk why but it feels like they're supposed to be natural opposing forces (like how enjoe poisoned the Vishaps with abyssal powers and don't the vishaps represent elemental creatures and abyssal powers almost killed them?). Like abyssal powers sound super unstable and can easily lead to trouble if you mess with it to much and same thing celestial powers which are just as unstable and chaotic. So I'm wondering if the thing that could actually stand a chance against Celestia isn't celestial powers but abyssal ones? If that's the case then there's no way shenezinia is gonna win. Abyssal powers are poisonous and celestial powers can warp your mind and space time- which sounds like suicide either way but i guess they don't have many options. Hell who's to say that Celestia can't just turn off the powers of the gnosis if someone tries to use it against them? This just makes me feel like ALOT of people and gods are gonna die when D-Day happens. :/

  13. I'm pretty sure we will be helping the Tsaritsa go to Celestia eventually so yeah they will succeed but I think that's as far as they will get. If the gnoses are from Celestia, then I reckon that Celestia has a stronger version that trumps all gnoses combined.

  14. The spoiler is that because how how tightly the CCP regulates narratives, you can sort of guess how things will turn out. If the Fatui are the good guys, they will succeed. If they fail, then they are the bad guys. The Chinese government doesn't allow players to side with 'evil'.

  15. The question I'd like an answer to, rather than "can they do it", or even "should they do it", is "why do they want to do it". What can be so bad about Celestia's rule that an Archon would risk herself, the nation she watches over, and possibly the world in order to achieve something that may be no more than mild inconvenience? As far as we can tell, Celestia isn't particularly benevolent but they don't seem malevolent either. They don't enslave humans, they don't force worship or sacrifices, they don't even intervene in mortal affairs. Yes, they dispatched Archons to manage various countries, but this has proved mostly beneficial, at least in recent memory. The only times they actually acted in a harmful way was to retaliate. Their motives and actions may be incomprehensible for mortals, but an Archon should more or less understand them.
What does the Tsaritza know that we don't and that is such a big deal in her eyes? Or is she victim of corrosion, or simply her own obsession like Ei used to be, and her "plan for freedom" is just literal insanity? Given her radical methods, either she knows something very, very bad, or she's lost it. It could even be both: in this hypothesis, Celestia does do something reprehensible, but she's paranoid and vastly exaggerates the threat.

As much as I like the trope of having the bad guys actually be Chaotic Good trying to save the world, there's just not enough evidence to support this hypothesis at the moment. There is evidence that the Fatui believe they are, but not enough that they are not simply deluding themselves (pun intended).

  16. Random idea popped in my head about the last unknown harbinger …could it be rhinedottir? I mean if the fatui know how to harness abyssal power, could she have been the one to teach them? Also if she did join them, was it because she is the reason for her homeland to be destroyed?

  17. I remember there being a theory that venti gave his Gnosis to dvalin just before it was taken that could also make the plan fail since they do not have all the Gnosis since one is fake if you do not remember when we finally save dvalin from the Abyssal corruption in the Cut scene he says is this the power of the anemo god

  18. Im honestly starting to think that many genshin lores are inspired of reflected from honkai like maybe the harbringers and tsaritsa reflect WoH and its herscherrs or the clock in the new compass being a genius device in honkai and maybe who knows celestia is actually the sky people

  19. Why Celestia isn't doing anything to stop the cryo archon has always been weird to me. What did Khaenri'ah do to deserve divine punishment? There's a whole civilization threatening to end the gods with their archon leading the way, discovering little secrets about them (such as the stars are a lie) and collecting gnosis, and Celestia is pretty chill about it. I think that whatever Khaenri'ah did is probably a personal matter.

  20. what i don't understand is why the fatui brands the traveler as enemy and basically ordered to attack on sight. given the traveler is friends with 3 archons, wouldn't tsaritsa want the traveler on her side?
